Ireland v Argentina

There are a few surprises in that Irish team. Didn’t pick Ringrose not to make it at 13, SOB is class at 7 but has looked short of a gallop after long term injury and Cronin the replacement hooker had been out of favour. Leavy the replacement bank row has also only just come back from injury.
Don’t think Argentina have the pack to win this.

Ringrose had a "bit of a pinch" according to Schmidt and he wants to have him right for the next test alongside Henshaw.
He's giving a go to most of the 42 in the squad and SOB has been getting a good few minutes in the PRO14 to bring him back up to speed. Leavy has to start back on the horse somewhere, I suppose as he needs more test minutes which this series of tests is hoping to achieve.
Should be a cracking game with the usual snarly, handbags and few hard hits being thrown around if the last few games have been anything to go by. The team that Ireland loves to hate.

Henshaw out and Will Addison no. 24 starts.
Sanchez with 2 penalties and Marmion with a try.
Then Delguy scores as Pumas exploit space out wide.
5-11 to Pumas. -
Second try for Ireland via Bundee Aki. Sexton converts.
12-11
-
The late introduction of 1-cap Addison into midfield not helping. But he’s growing into game.
-
Ireland making complete hames of the lineout.
-
Sanchez in song with the boot from a penalty.
12-14.
Very ragged. The team against Italy were more coherent.
-
SOB with a knock. Leavy coming on.
-
Penalty from halfway for Ireland. Sexton knocks it over.
15-14 at HT.
