I'm not liking this season of Lost much. I get the feeling that I'm going to be hugely dissapointed. On the Walt thing - I hope they wrap up why he was so 'special' but I'm not holding my breath. They went back to when the plane originally landed and the kid that plays him has grown a lot.
halfway through S2 of Breaking Bad and enjoying it, dark comedy, well written and acted. <br />

Think he son is a superb actor. <br />
<br />
Enjoying Flash Forward.<br />

maybe a lost spoiler*********************<br />

<br />
Over Lost already, the whole alternate world is peeing me off, not to mention the new people in this world (I dont recall Jack having a teen son) and then we have this whole new village of people...at least we are almost halfway through the last series!
<br />

spoiler for lost<br />
<br />
The temple will get blown up in the next episode we will see here in NZ. The alternate universe is boring at the moment but like I said earlier I think the two realities will merge towards the end and it will become more important and more interesting. -
I came away thinking about the irony in his death. Exactly the point you make about the death all around and then this seemingly minor one. Its supposed to annoy you I think. Also it highlights that one death should be no more important than another and the only way Bruno's(german boy) father would learn this is by basically killing his own son in the manner he disposes of all the jews. Though obviously the movie ends abruptly so I've drawn my own conclusions. Also I haven't read the book.
<br />
WARNING SPOILER Boy in the Striped Pyjamas WARNING SPOILER<br />
<br />
Apologies I don't know how to work spoilers.<br />
<br />
<br />
The ending really pissed me off as basically you're manipulated into feeling sad at the death of the little German boy, despite throughout the movie in the camp people are getting killed all the time.
<br />
<br />
After thinking about it for a while I think I agree with both of you now. It's one of those movies that gave me a lot to think about and it took a while to process it. The little boy dying at the end just proved how incredibly wrong the whole war was when it took his father experiencing it himself to realise that what he was in charge of was wrong. -
I saw 'The boy in the stripped pyjamas' last week. I thought that it was told really well. The ending was tragic but I think it fitted the story.
I love Locke. He's been excellent throughout. He's normal, well mannered and kind hearted but is a tough hunter-gatherer when required. The type of person I'd latch on to, should I ever find myself stranded on an island. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /><br />
<br />
But isn't he scary as the `new' Locke? His eyes....pure evil. Love it!<br />
<br />
I don't know how the two parallel worlds are going to come together but it's going to be fun finding out. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
<br />
<br />
He is scary. Very different from the Locke we knew. I don't know if he's all evil though. It's never that clear cut on Lost.<br />
<br />
I don't think they are just showing us what would have happened if the plan hadn't crashed - I think it's different altogether. Things are different, for instance Hurley is actually lucky in this universe where as he was convinced he was cursed previously. I think the two timelines will merge by the end. -
^ He sure is! The second hour of the premiere is better than the first, imo. The third episode/hour is not one of the best episodes. Next episode is Locke's I think which should make for good watching.<br />
<br />
I liked Flash Foward. It's definitely something I'll keep watching. -
I wouldn't mind a spin-off though, but it would have to be as `supernatural' as Lost to keep me tuned.
<br />
<br />
That was only ever a rumour. Tptb on Lost have said that once it's over, it's over - no movie, sequel, spin-off or whatever. -
I have seen the first episode of Lost for Season 6. The general consensus seems to be that it was very good and I agree. The first hour dragged but it picked up in the second hour. TVNZ have cut the episode in half by the looks of the TV Guide which is pretty usual for them. Last season bored me to tears but for the most part was a filler season. It'll be interesting to see where they take it from here. I defintely don't think all of the questions will be answered but the major ones will.<br />
<br />
I liked V. I'm looking foward to the rest of the episodes.<br />
<br />
I will give Flash Foward a go, too. I've heard different things about it - both good and bad so I will have to check it out for myself. -
Ugh. Australia was total rubbish. I can't stand Nicole Kidman so that didn't help but the overall story is just crap.<br />
<br />
Last movie I saw was Avatar in 3D. The special effects blew me away but the story is nothing spectacular. -
I saw This Is It when it first came out. Pretty much agree with everything you said Hooroo. If you can just sit back and take his music for what it is then I think it's pretty good.<br />
<br />
I made the mistake of going to New Moon today. I'm beginning to wonder why. xzxscratch_one-s_head It was just bad on every single level. -
I went to see Defiance today. It was the best movie I've seen in a very long time. I can't stand war movies but this wasn't really about the war. I think I fell in love with Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber.
