last nights episode of Lost was quite good, while still a long way form any decent answers, it kinda answered a few questions regarding this alternate world (not parallell)

NOw a fair number of the Survivors and others are starting to cross paths, and a few things starting to tie in together (for a change)

Although still a number of characters that seem to have fallen away and either dont fit the puzzle or will re-appear to complete it (hopefully) at the end.

Was odd seeing Charlie & Penny on Lost, when they were both on Flash Forward the hour prior too. -
Hope that Walt will get tied back in now we are seeing his dad in next week's promo.
ah ok, didnt watch the next week preview, had a screaming child to tend too...

must be coming to the last half dozen or so?

I actually thought Charlie was gonna drown, like on the Island... -
Seven episodes left I think. A huge amount to wrap up, get the feeling I'm going to be disappointed.
I expect to be disappointed.... -
Don't pretend you're not both disappointed already.

Think I'm an episode or two ahead and it's getting pretty edgy but seems to be heading off in every direction possible. Not looking good....
Oh, I think I am - I just enjoy being confused sometimes. I'm comparing it with the first episode and what it's like now, and it's a completely different show. -
Dunno if I'd say I enjoy being confused, more that it worries me the confusion will not end when the show does...

I have no doubt I will be disappointed how they tie this all up! -
I'm not liking this season of Lost much. I get the feeling that I'm going to be hugely dissapointed. On the Walt thing - I hope they wrap up why he was so 'special' but I'm not holding my breath. They went back to when the plane originally landed and the kid that plays him has grown a lot.

I'm currently watching the World at War miniseries from the 1970s. It's a great series narrated by Olivier. The other great WW2 doco series I've seen was at Uni and I thought it was called Bood on the Stone. It was basically the story of WW2 from the USSRs point of view. I can't track it down on the web. Anyone else have any idea of what it's called?

Edit: It was called Blood Upon the Snow and it must have been pretty much new when I saw it as it came out 1997 (I always thought it was an old doco). The English version was narrated by Nigel Hawthorne. -
Breaking Bad season 3 had started off a bit slow (probably by necessity as it dealt with the fall out from the end of season 2), but has been building and is now delivering. Great episode this week.
I thought it started off great. its a drama so it has a slow parts to it, but there are going to be some great twists this series, it is probably my favourite thing on telly at the moment. I am travelling to NZ in June so I am waiting to get all episodes so I can watch it in one hit. -
havent seen when S3 is due to start over here, but looking forward to it!

I actually think this latest series of Lost could have been a stand alone one!

Most of what I have seen if it were it's own series is quite good, but in the greater scheme of things, it sucks big ones as we know we are gonna be left majorly disappointed with whatever the conclusion is (assuming we even get one)

The Michael appearance pretty much a non-issue, am guessing in the alternate world him, Walt and the dog never got on the plane.

Interesting Desmond seems to all of a sudden be integral to alot of goings on, even though he must have been, given he was on the island before them all anyway -
finished S3 of Deadwood, not as good as the 1st 2 and finished like there was to be another series, but it got canned...disappointing end really.

cbf scrolling through all the pages of comments so here're my thoughts on the series I follow:

Fringe S2: Went nowhere for half the season but was still enjoyable. It's starting to pick up now.
How I Met Your Mother S5: Starting to get frustrated with this show's lack of storyline, though it still has great gags.
The Big Bang Theory S3: Someone remind me why I watch this?
Lost S6: Been following this on TV2 and for all my criticisms of their coverage, this season they've stepped up. This series of Lost is amazing!
30 Rock S4: Hilarious.
Parks and Recreation S2: Think The Office UK meets 30 Rock and you're close, this show's really great. Relies on a lot of character humour rather than one-liners, so if that ain't your thing...
Bored to Death S1: This show is great, it's about a writer who gets writers block on his second novel and decides to try his hand as a private detective instead. -

Last weeks was absolute gold!! Easily the best comedy about at the moment. The character they have made (the tall one, name escapes me) is simply genius (no pun intened)

I love it how he isn't into woman and everything thing they do passees over his head. Brilliant -
Sheldon...

Last night was gold as well! Easily the funniest thing on TV, surpasses 2.5 Men for me, which gets by with alot of funny innuendo, whereas BBT is clever, obviously based around Sheldon's complete inept social skills, but funny none the less.
