Want to see a back three of Hurley, Manson and Tangitau in a couple of weeks. Hope we retain Hastie and nine and keep Faktava for impact

Manson has loads of upside, but his defence is awful. I'd be nervous about that back three to be honest. Gilbert is not perfect, but he brings stability and a decent kicking game.

Don’t you think might be too small of a back three?

Yeah I go back and forward around what is best. Gilbert annoys me. But he does his job. Tangitau and Hurley should be picked. Then it is just who the third is. The stability of Gilbert is useful in an inexperienced backline. Nareki's return will be good for the balance.

Not exactly like for like situations and I know Fakatava wasn't fit tonight however with Hastie and Fakatava there are some parallels between Joseph selecting Aaron Smith over Cowan in his first season coaching Landers the first go around

My source says about 3500 scanned in at kick off. It used to look like less than 500 Mt Smart.

Nah. Tangitau is nearly 100kg. Manson 90. Hurley will always be a midget. A tough as anything midget.

Moana genuinely unlucky but if Havili got his kicks they could have won. Landers can also only play what's infront of them. Irritating one to watch.

@KiwiMurph Hastie I thought was subbed for a reason. He slightly over does his running game, but his massive left boot is extremely helpful in this side. Both will be needed throughout the season... but gee, how was he rated below Arscott, who looked like a small child when he came on?

Geez that's rugby. I am knackered watching it, players must be almost dead. The Highloanders must feel like they can do with a holiday. For them how good was Holland again, Big Jim (again) and I have to disagree with a few, I thought Gilbert was bloody good. And Hastie? I knew he was ok, but by the powers he was bloody good. MP were not rubbish either, Ardie is a monster sometimes . Great game.

Feel vindicated about the missed 50/22?

Arscott might have been a little lucky not to concede a penalty after the Big Jim turnover.

Umaga needs to make a big call on who starts at 10. It's obvious who it should be. Really the 9-10-12 axis wasn't great for MP.

I'd have to watch it again, but after a fairly anonymous first appearance, TK Howden was huge in that last three minutes. Came through to stop the first maul (leading to the turnover) before stealing the second one.

No why should I?? I made my feelings clear, I had no probs with it. Could you not understand that? I said it repeatedly!! I thought AB selectors would mark it down.. I love the game he plays, it is just what Super needs.
I can watch games like that all the time!
