The Manawa will probably be underdone. That was their first and only pre-season game last Sat whereas the Blues and Poua had played NSW prior.

Believe they also had an internal hit out but obvs that's not gonna be full tit. Strange they've only had the one compared to the other 3 teams. Shooting themselves in the foot early.

Blues up 19-0 at halftime in the crossover final vs Tahs

Weather is horrendous which is a shame

The handling ability in the wet is seriously impressive

Some of these Blues teenagers are putting on a show out there

The BFs squad will be interesting. Bason is impressive but the loosies are a position of strength. Sorensen-McGee will be joining the sevens next year. A big talent too.

A bit unfortunate that it was a blow out as now any chance of a crossover comp is probably dead in the water. Bit of a disappointing crowd too but I guess the weather is pretty shit at the mo.

A converted winger. We didn't see any kicking game from her as the Blues run everything or rely on Demant to kick. That is the big question mark over Pouri-Lane as well because the box kick is still a weapon at international level. Maybe the BFs will revert to Smith's 2021 tactics again.
