@family-man It's odd, isn't it? They probably expect Roe to go the full 80, but yeah, injuries can strike anytime. I suspect either Plummer or Trask? Can't see them use Koroi at halfback. Wonder what the game plan is with both Gregory and Faingaanuku on the bench.

Can't wait to see how Uluilakepa fares. His weight is 145 kg and if Asi comes in when he is still on the paddock, there would be a 280 kg pair of props !

Great team try scored by Billy Proctor. 4 and half minutes into the game. Awesome start. Plummer converts.

    7 - 0 NZ

7' Koroi gets yellow for a deliberate knock down. Penalty to Wales. Another ref could have granted a penalty try, so we're a bit lucky there.

Wales takes advantage of the extra man on the field and score in the corner. Excellent conversion.

    7 all after 10 minutes.

High tackle Plummer penalised. Hmm, looks harsh after watching the replay. Penalty kick Wales is good.

    7 - 10 Wales

@billy-tell Haha, good to know! What would have concerned me more is if I was the only Ferner watching the game!

NZ's line-speed is making things difficult for Wales; Flanders is excellent again. Florence is good, too.

Awesome try from Tom Christie, after great work from Koroi and Sullivan.

    Plummer converts. 22 - 10 NZ after 31 minutes.

Geez, yellow for Florence for a shoulder against the face. Not red because the Welsh player was going down.

Ref says he never used his arm. Complete bullshit. Harsh call again.

These players slipping into the tackle and then getting the opponent a YC is bullshit.

The annoying thing with these stupid, un-deserved yellow cards is that they all go on a player's record. They not only need to watch out to get another yellow during the same game, but two more yellows in other games of the tournament will also earn them a visit to the judiciairy.

    NZ's 7-man-scrum destroys the Welsh 8-man-scrum.

Penalty goal kick from Plummer from 47 metres ... it's good.

Half time: New Zealand 25 - 10 Wales

Excellent long strike in pouring rain and slippery turf to perfectly land penalty to the sheds. Baby Blacks dominated that period after the yellow.
