<img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> You mean this? http://www.xxxfreesexchat.com/SE/SE2/2209_00.JPG<br />
<br />
My real concern is infection - they've been watering the ovals around here to get them ready for winter chill so the ground's a bit mushy. -
OK, exercise in the last week:<br />
<br />
Walking to the station each morning now as have to leave earlier for work in the new job. 1km each way as I also walk home.<br />
<br />
Went for a run around the oval to keep breaking the new boots in.<br />
<br />
Went for a swim the other night and 25 minutes of laps (I got through about 15-20 laps I guess) for almost 500m of swimming. Back and shoulders sore as the next day. -
Went for a run around the oval Sunday and place kicking practice while I break in these new boots - they're getting there and my heels are getting harder so they'll meet in the middle. This week also featured running around after Little Aussie downt the park with my brother and parents. All good fun.<br />
<br />
Original weight: 118kg (120 at the start of the year)<br />
Current weight: 112kg<br />
Measurements<br />
Chest: 123cm (have put a bit on here? :-k original 120)<br />
Gut: 115cm (down from original 117cm)<br />
Butt: 122cm (down from original 125cm)<br />
<br />
So nothing major there but enough to keep me going.<br />
<br />
New job and the onset of winter hasn't allowed quite enough time to work out as I'd like - its hard when you only get a couple of hours a day "quality time" with Little Aussie and by the time he goes to bed its after 9.30 at night. Will have to start the running/swimming at lunch time, given that all the local gyms charge through the fucking roof for membership. The place in the Sydney Hilton is $120 a month! And that is WITH the corporate discount!!!!! :tickedoff: -
Went for a 20km ride Sunday morning with a mate. Wasn't pushing it too hard but found the pedalling really hard. Halfway into the ride I found out why - nothing to do with the headwind pushing against my ample frame, but instead a spoke snapped somewhere along the way and as a result the rear wheel had buckled a bit and was rubbing against the brakes. After releasing the rear brakes completely the pedalling was easier, but the downhill slightly scary :shifty:<br />
<br />
Besides that the odd bit of of a jog down the oval and occasional other exercise though I've been bloody lazy all things considered. Down to 111.5kg according to the scales at home but that may be in error - still its 8.5kg off since the start of the year and even with lack of exercise I'm finding it easy to keep off so yay me. -
Exercise this week has so far included some press ups, walking, Mrs the Aussie, and a 15km ride yesterday followed by a night at the Austrian Schnitzelhaus in Gladesville. All that good work destroyed with 1.5 litres of Erdinger Kristal and while the meal itself wasn't that bad, a LOT of potatoes had NTA feeling a bit tight around the gut. Weight was up a bit this morning but I have had a massive dump since so figure it evens out.

<br />
oh super, thanks for sharing that Nick.....really makes my last handfull of M&M's before footy enjoyable. :sealedlips: <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /> -
Speaking of peanuts, did you want a blow-by-blow of my battle with this super soft-serve or what? <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />

<br />
Went out for a quick 5km ride to test the new cycling strides I bought, and I think I'll get the thicker ones thanks.... along with gloves, balaclava, and parka. Bloody cold out there.... -
Bloody soft, more like! Toughen up ya big homma. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />
<br />
Good work Nick, if you can keep the fitness going through the unpleasant colder months, then we should be encouraging you....so well done. <br />
<br />
Keepin it real! :happy: -
Oh fuck. NTA is well off the fatbusting rails after what could only be termed a massive night out ... lost track of the exact number of rum nips but NTA knows it was 5 before dinner, 3 with, and then :-k ... :shifty: well it feels like another 15 or so since. At The Fishbowl some bastard started buying doubles and then at Empire... well, let's just say that NTA definitely doesn't know how many Jaegermeister shots he had either ... snuck into the house at 4.45AM, smelling like a Bundaberg molasses tank and drier than a nun's nasty... NTA did not have the requisite willpower to get on the bike and detox himself with a 20km ride this morning, so now NTA is living with the consequences.<br />
<br />
All I can say is thank fuck my bladder was full when I got on the Nightride Bus service just after 3AM - I had to exit rather rapidly approximately 12km from home and only managed to get a taxi after running/walking the first 2km. Had I not done that small amount of detox I'm quite sure I'd be in the foetal position right now, believing that better ways to die could include conversation with Phooey...<br />
<br />
And in further developments - there will be birthday celebrations for me next weekend at the Red Oak beer cafe here in Sydney, and I may not be able to resist the urge... :shifty: -
OK, bought myself some warm biking gear - gloves and leg warmers by Pearl Izumi - and forced myself out for a quick 10km tonight. Legs and hands were warm all the way! Old (tight) rugby jersey with long singlet underneath stood up well to the cold and once I lost feeling in my face and ears everything was sweet. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />
<br />
Got home, had a protein shake, and feeling pretty good about myself. Gonna sleep like a baby tonight... -
Thanks Bart. Its a tough life this winter exercise thing, but just like playing rugby on a frosty day - once you get into it, you hardly notice! Though rugby has the advantage of providing scrums to shelter in :nta<br />
<br />
Going to attempt a full 20km on Friday night before a Saturday night spent watching rugby and boozing it up in town... Then back on the bike Sunday before the Test kicks off <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /> In the meantime, something that can be done in the shelter of home - pressups and abs. -
OK, Friday-Sunday was a writeoff due to the shitty weather, but lo and behold not a cloud in the sky all day today, and being a public holiday I resolved to take in the 20km I so thoroughly deserve.<br />
<br />
Stumbling blocks today were my mate's collection of beer and the BBQ lunch we had at his place. Anyone here tried this stuff?<br />
<br />

<br />
Only 8% :shifty: and I had two of them. Not to mention the Hollandia (which tasted off) and Carlton Cold beforehand, and the home made Serbian Plum Schnapps (metho) afterwards. Bike ride was very hard, and I feel a wee bit dehydrated, but the ride is completed. Though its hard to work out the time it took because I stopped to give a statement to a nice policeman about the domestic altercation I saw riding the first leg of the run <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />
<br />
I left about 3:35PM and got back about 4:45PM, so taking out the 5 minutes for my statement and the 10 minutes getting the bike out, pumping the tires, and then putting it away, I reckon 55 minutes is alright. Pretty good considering I hadn't done a 20km stretch (with that much alcohol) in 2 months. -
Well I don't want to make him feel guilty about underpaying me now do I? <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> When he brings the beer I give him free hours <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />

<br />
True Nick, very true, though there's no risk of that in this instance.<br />
<br />
Actually it can be uncomfortable working for your mates, and knowing what to charge them...well I find that anyway. Then when you do the right thing by them and undercharge, they go and fuck you proper by wanting shitloads of changes!? fluffybunnies. Still, at least when they're mates, you can tell them to go fuck their hat.
