@Yeetyaah It's about "origin", so not where they are currently playing NPC or SR. I've gone with where players were born, or if that was unclear, where they went to school.
Kieran Read is from Papakura, not Canterbury.
Nepo Laulala wasn't born in NZ, so can't be in any NZ line-up.
Same for Naholo and Sevu Reece, who were born in Fiji.Looked it up, and Sean Wainui is from Whatatutu (north of Gisborne), so the Canes can claim him.
SBW is from Auckland, you'll have to take him off the list, too.Riccitelli was born in South Africa.
@ARHS ALB and James Tucker are from Canterbury
@Yeah-The-Boys Moli isn't from the Chiefs catchment

Let's try again.
- Ayden Johnstone
- Nathan Harris
- Josh Iosefa-Scott
- Lachlan Boshier
- Scott Barrett
- Luke Jacobson
- Sam Cane
- Kieran Read
- Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi
- Beauden Barrett
- Teihorangi Walden
- Jordie Barrett
Reserves:
16. Liam Coltman
17. Reuben O'Neill
18.
19. Laghlan McWhannell
20. Mitchell Brown
21. Augustine Pulu
22. Beaver Donald
23. Etene Nanai-SeturoEdit: Removed Sevu Reece, Waisake Naholo, Nepo Laulala, Aidan Ross, Ricky Riccitelli and Sean Wainui.
Thought about Gatland at 12 and Walden at 13 but meh. Cant think of any more.

22 Bryn Gatland / Beaver Donald
23 Kaleb Trask / Ngarohi McGarvey-Black (Etene Nanai-Seturo, same as Augustine Pulu?)Have stolen some players from Sevens, because it seems the Chiefs catchment area is light on outside backs.

@shark Probably Mitch Hunt as reserve first five - or Marty Banks - or even James Marshall, or Fletcher Smith. We've got lots of Ta$man first fives!
No idea who Connor Collins is, so Jack Grooby at halfback.
My bad! The next kid to come through the NZ U20s, ex CBHS, will add to the depth too!

Anton Lienert-Brown and Tom Franklin would fill those slots. James Tucker and Kane Leaupepe also contenders. Atu Moli and Toby Smith might go in as props and Solomon Alaimano as back 3. Pretty strong combo.
Someone hasn't quite got the gist of the criteria. Or maybe i wasnt clear.
ALB is from chch and went to CBHS
Tucker and Alaimalo also Cantabs, both out of St Bede's. -
OK so this is MY silly team, so here are MY qualification rules.
Born in a region and went to HS in the same region is an easy qualification, and I'd say most guys would fall into this criteria.
Born overseas but NZ qualified? Then its where they went to school.
Born overseas, schooled overseas but NZ qualified? Then it's about the province first represented.
The hardest ones would be if a guy was born in, say, Auckland, and then moved elsewhere with his family at say, 15. Personally I'd say they qualify for wherever they ended up after several years of HS in the region followed by provincial representation. The likes of Siate Tokolahi and D McKenzie who won one year scholarships to Christchurch high schools, i dont count as Cantabs. Case by case with these i guess so let the debate flow in instances like this. -
