@Canes4life I assume it's because he hasn't played for almost 3 weeks. He missed two games because of parental leave. But yeah, it's odd, although his power will come in handy in the second half when the Mako (and our starters) start to tire. Personally, I'd have swapped IWL and Cridge, also, because Cridge is more versatile and can also play at 6.

Yeah, smacked us in that scrum.

That stupid tackle rule after that though, Nankivell was tackled, defender let him go and he just kept going.

Do you think the defending black 10 was held back/impeded by the Ta$man player in that try scoring movement by them?

To make matters worse Danny Toala has left the field after taking a couple of heavy knocks.

Not sure, I was too busy seeing the red mist over the tackle held/not held. 🙂

That there explains exactly why TBN should not be selected for the Hurricanes ahead of Devan Flanders as Flanders scores nicely from a scrum under pressure as HB increase their score by 100%
Hawkes Bay 14 - 07 Ta$man after about twenty three minutes

Very good set move from the visitors..bugger...!,I really believe this is going to be one of these games where the magpies need to stay in the fight until Crocket and Lomax depart ..
