Tough luck, Lindisfarne. They lead for most of the game, but lost by two points. They deserved the win, but a few errors in the last 10 minutes cost them and they also didn't get the rub of the green.

    FT: Lindisfarne 15 - 17 St John's (Hamilton)

I predict Cooper Flanders will have a choice of provinces that will want to sign him. He's just outstanding; again in this game.

I really hope he's not tempted by the bigger money of richer unions and will stay in Hawke's Bay.

    Hastings is leading 12 - 0.

    Napier is trailing 3 - 6.

Another try to Hastings. This one was scored by right wing Alex Dickey.

    Hastings is leading 17 - 0.

Napier still trailing 3 - 6, just as Tim Slabbekoorn misses an easy penalty kick at goal. Don't know why Moleli isn't kicking them.

Hmm, the score on screen now says 3 - 9. I don't know when that happened.

Speaking of Moleli, he just scored the first try of the game!

Haha, the person who keeps the scores has totally lost it. The score on screen is now 14 - 3 now. That's definitely not correct. My guess is it's 8 - 6 to Napier, but not sure.

Aone Lolofie scores an excellent try for Hastings. They're smashing Gisborne. Admittedly, Gisborne have looked the weakest of all Super 8 schools thus far, but this is really a show of strength from Hastings!

HT: Hastings BHS 22 - 0 Gisborne BHS

They give the half time score of 14 - 3 to Tauranga Boys, but that's definetely not correct. Moleli scored a try for Napier, so they should be on at least 8 points.

Just saw the scoreboard at the ground: the half time score was definitely 8 - 6 to Napier Boys.

Great try to Mefi Tupou for Hastings. It's now 29 - 0.

St John's Hastings lost 0 - 35 to Whanganui Collegiate. Ouch.

Cooper Flanders has scored for Hastings. It's now 34 - 0.

Napier getting f*cked over by the ref. Scrum close to Napier's try line ...

Preston Whatarau (?) scores for Hastings. Never heard of him before; I think he's an outside back. Google tells me he was still playing U15s in 2020.

    Hastings lead 41 - 0.

Not sure who this local commentator is (his voice sounds familiar), but he's too much! 😹

Another try to Hastings, this time it's winger Josiah Sakaria. Sometimes I think the commentator is just guessing who's scoring, so not sure whether all the names are correct.

    Hastings leads 46 - 0.

And just when I type that, they score again. It's a monster score. 9 tries.

    It's now 53 - 0.

It looks like one of Napier's big boys has scored. Well-deserved! Again, the person from sideline live gives the points to Tauranga. It's hilarious.

    Napier now leads 13 - 6.

Dammit. Tauranga score close to the post. Haha, and now they give the points to Napier.

    It's 13 all.
