@Bovidae Yeah, he wasn't even named in the Turbos squad for 2022, so it must have happened before their squad naming.

clubrugby The Wellington Academy side beat the Manawatu Academy team 48-14 in the opening match of the Sam Doyle Memorial Trophy on Saturday at the new NZCIS ground in Upper Hutt.

A tight first half ended with Wellington scoring three late tries and leading 19-0 at halftime, before pulling away early in the second spell under a blazing sky.
