@antipodean In previous years, he didn't get much game time.

Because he couldn't play more than 50 minutes at Super level without cramping up.

@Toddy No, he didn't get game time because Reed Princep wasn't injured.

@Stargazer They had to play Princep as Flanders couldn't play more than 50 minutes. So was more suited to the bench.

@Toddy No, that's plainly not true. They always picked Princep, no matter what. He's the coach's pet.

The Drua are just standing on our side of the ruck and the ref is just ignoring it. They are impeding Roigard every single time he tries to get it out.

Both Lomax and Naholo now having their ankles strapped. I really hope there won't be a huge injury toll from this game.

Nah Flanders was either injured or always going down with cramp. Pretty sure Flanders was preferred but he was hardly fully fit.

Lol why do so many teams struggle in Fiji? Is it the humidity? We look gassed.

Drua let the Canes off the hook in that half. They should be out of sight and could come to regret it in the 2nd half.

The Drua have left some points out there in the 1st half. The Canes could have been down 15+ pts.

More than North Queensland earlier in the year when we played the Reds? Or is it just a different heat?

The whole team does. One of the flattest half's I can remember. Lucky to be so close still

The cynic in me says that was the old SA tactic. Lomax going to the ground to allow Naholo to be taped and back into action.

@Canes4life The humidity is much more nasty in the islands. You could add another few degrees on the temperatures over there.

What's this commentator on about? Calling Fiji 'home' for IWL and saying he was born there. He wasn't. His father was, but he's from Gizzy.
