and RB, that is quite classic - I have just written a piece for oversize (not yet published) about how body building is pretty much the dead opposite of your MSU. Functional strength be fucked, it's all about building a front that looks strong - big bulgy muscles etc. The opposite of the rugby head days, whei it was all about strength, and beach muscles could go and get stuffed!!

Basically lifting weights for bodybuilding = strength a byproduct, shape is the goal
lifting weights sports specific = shape being a byproduct, functional strength is the goal

nah, not opposing views, at the moment for me, strength is the by-product - shape is the goal, doesn't matter how strong you are, so long as you look like bloody Arnold!!

What puts me off is all the eating required by you blokes! I cant afford it let alone find the time to do it. Must be time for me to downsize gracefully!

buying the real food is more expensive (how wrong is that - fresh veg and fresh meats more expensive than suasages and processed shit, but I digress). But the protein powders and that sort of shit is expensive as fuck - hence looking for a sponsor / sponsors!!
