Very good, accurate passing from the AB7s. Those offloads! McGarvey-Black over again.

Wales gets the consolation try, but time's up.

    Full time : New Zealand 36 - 7 Wales

Very good first game from the AB7s. Great ball handling, good on defence (except in the last few seconds) and they looked like they were enjoying themselves. May it continue ...

I don't think this was even the best try from the AB7s.

Still room for improvement, but a good game from the BF7s.

The AB7s are next at 8.36pm against Canada.

    AB7s lead 19 - 0 at half time.

Two tries scored by Rayasi. Joe Webber has been very good in this first half.

Webber, Rayasi and Ware looking sharp. NMB looks to have put on a bit of size eh.

Eerily reminiscent of the ABs with just perpetual ball movement. Really don't like our propensity to compound infringements on defence though.

Another good game. A bit messy at the end, but the defence held.

The game against Samoa (2.28am) is going to decide who finishes on top in this pool, with Samoa also having won both it's first two games.

The BF7s will play their next game against France at 1.02am. France is going to be a more difficult opponent and that will also be a battle for the top spot in the pool.

And that's the final score. The BF7s have lost to France before; they're always a tough opponent. But what a game!

The BF7s will meet Fiji in the Cup QF tomorrow at 7.28pm.

Great, entertaining game. Both sides playing well. Knewstubb standing out in the first half.

Geez these commentators are awful. Everyone in the Samoa team is Alosio (unless it's Perez). Molia is Solia. And as for "just like toothpaste, always shines" - YUCK.

That was awesome from Knewstubb, bossing this game after seeming a bit off in the first game. Samoan tries to run straight at him and Knewstubb strips it immediately and saunters the 10m to the tryline.

I expected a closer contest, but it looks like Samoa was only competitive for one half.
