    Parkinsn's going really well. If he can keep the form for next year, the 2020 ABs are going to look completely different.

    Was pretty poor for the MABs wasn't he? Definitely a good prospect though.

    @Chris-B The author of that article seems to be unaware of the fact that Havili already captained the Mako, last year.

    @Stargazer Apart from this bit... 🙂

    Although he was caught off guard when he was appointed captain last season, he took pride in the fact he was able to lead his province.

    @Stargazer Yeah but Jordan still looks like the better player. Havili is more established yes, doesn't mean he's a better player than Jordan.

    It's probably like comparing McDonald to Cullen. Havili is like McDonald, solid skill set, doesn't do alot wrong but also doesn't set the house on fire. Cullen, the best Fullback of all time who beat a person with pure pace and acceleration. I see Jordan having the same sort of impact in the All Black jersey.

    I can see where you are coming from, as it would be hard for Razor to break a winning formula. I just think Jordan is one of the most exciting talents we've seen in a long time.

    If I had a dollar for all the times I’ve heard that said about a NZ rugby player...

    @shark Surely the Crusaders backline should be: 9. Hall 10. Mo'unga 11. Bridge 12. Goodhue 13. Ennor 14. Reece 15. Jordan, with Havili that utility cover on the bench.

    Harsh on Havili I know, but Jordan is just too good to leave out.

    @Bones
    I did not write this (maybe inspired ?).

    @cgrant well hey I'm happy for you to think that's progression... This is also a guy that thought Laumape isn't good enough to be a starting 12 in super rugby... 😁

    @Stargazer Jordan got injured for the Crusaders, he had that 15 spot locked down before his injury. In Ta$man's case it's probably more of a case of having all the quality players on the park at once.

    I'm not saying Havili is a bad player, I just know class when I see it, and Jordan has it in spades.

    Yes agree with others that this is patently, thoroughly wrong. IF Jordan had been fit in 2018 though, he may well have overtaken the 2018 Havili'i who wasn't as good as the 2017 Havili'i. But he was never, ever, in the frame ahead of Havili'i.

    However, I expect Jordan to overtake Havili'i next year if Havili'i is in anything less than vintage form, or should the Crusaders require him at 12.

    Oh and I'm also in the camp that doesn't move Goodhue to accommodate Ennor, but should attrition or lack of other options dictate that move - and there's no clear 12 for the Saders at the moment - then so be it.
