Lot of talk about Jordie Barrett being the European player of the year but after this result Henry Pollock must be pushing hard for that spot
-
@game_film Leinster have only two games left of their season and they have basically already won the United Rugby Championship. I wonder if Jordie will fly back early and link up with the Hurricanes.
-
Not starting Jordie Barrett was unbelievable arrogance by the Leinster coaching team and I am glad it blew up their faces.
-
I cannot believe the performance I just watched from Pollock the Northampton openside.
20 years old.
He absolutely terrorised the Leinster team from whistle to whistle.
Freak of a player.
And he is doing the Vince McMahon/Conor McGregor walk during a lap of honour
-
Are we sure Henry Pollock isn't somehow Richie McCaw's son?
-
Henry Pollock's match stats.
23 tackles (the most of anyone in the match)
1 tackle missed
8 carries
58 metres gained
3 defenders beaten
1 Try -
Why on earth did Leinster pay all that money to sign Jordie Barrett and then left him on the bench?
Staggering.

Highlights visible in the UK but I don't know about elsewhere:

Great game. The mental fragility of Leinster is something else, though. I understand that the high expectations can cause unnecessary pressure but during the game it almost seemed like they were surprised about how hard Northampton were playing. As if it wasn't the semi-final of the Champions Cup.
The most damning thing to me was that the Northampton players didn't even seem exhausted near the end. Multiple players in the bin throughout the game but never once trailed.
Phenomenal attacking performance by Northampton, it has to be said. They made that Nienaber defence look like a sieve.

Semi finals this weekend, think Northampton will get stuffed, also backing Bordeaux to beat Toulouse without Dupont, hope I'm wrong on both counts, Toulouse definitely have a chance.
Leinster to win but closer than you think
Bordeaux to sneak itBath to win away with strong second half
Racing with the away win, justOne good prediction out of three so far. Lyon OU has won comfortably against Racing 92 (29-15).
