      Here is an interesting article about youngsters aiming for the top but not making it to such lofty goals. I suspect that something similar might happen here in that for every top spot there are probably 50 kids chasing it so the fallout will be quite high. I do hope that the players that don't achieve "exhaulted" professional levels don't become disillusioned and still retain their love of the sport and continue to participate for the enjoyment of the game at club level. The various guidance counsellors and player development officers at Super and NPC teams have an awful lot of responsibility to ensure those that don't make it to the top levels are not lost to the game.
