Well that went wrong quickly! 14 all at half time.

@Stargazer Fuatai is having an absolute shitter. And again our passive defence is terrible, too much pondering in the inside channels.

NZ 19 - 14 Canada - Phew! A last gasp tackle saving an almost certain Canada try.

Webber saves NZ blushes. Wonder match winning cover tackle.

Pfew, that was close. At least we're in the Cup QF.
Canada beat Fiji earlier, so NZ is the only team in the pool with 2 wins at the moment.

@Bones Indeed, you may be right. I think it's in the women's series where two wins are enough, because they have fewer teams. Not sure what the tiebreaking rules are in the World Series.

@Bones Yes, then NZ goes through even after a loss to Fiji and a win from Canada, because then NZ & Canada would have the same number of wins, but NZ has beaten Canada.

    But Canada has beaten Fiji...

@Bones Arrrggghhh, yes, I see. Three countries with the same number of wins. Sorry, it's late haha.

@Stargazer who Fiji would have beaten. So each team would have beaten and lost to one other they're equal on points with you see...

If Fiji beats nz by 1 point, then nz will miss out if Canada beat Japan by 33 points.

NZ just needs to stay within 19 points of Fiji - and with a good start, 12-0 up... we're looking safe.

    See-saw game.
NZ 24-14 up, with a Fiji player off... looking sweet.
Nek minute - Fiji back to 7 men, NZ down to 6 - 22-21
Edit: Finally - a try to clinch it, Fiji get to play for a trophy.

Awesome! Much better from the boys, real intensity in attack and especially defence. Forbes was huge as we're Dickson and Webber, the old boys standing up. Nice confidence from Houston!
