Great tactical coaching by Razor , change the point of attack multiple times,Read the blues line out.
Pleasing to see some ABs stand up who were selected .
But a worry some others did not stand up under pressure.
On to the test season,Heads up Blues supporters your team has come a long way and will only get better.
Now to get fucking pissed.

RE: AB squad for the Rugby Championship
I seem to be missing something with Fifita,I must be falling asleep during games and missing all the great work he is getting through to keep him in the AB squad.

RE: Andrew Symonds RIP
Absolutely Gutted losing Symo,I coached with him with the Qld u/19s squad for 3 seasons.
Great bloke sad sad day.He could tell a great tale the big fella. -
RE: TRC: The All Blacks against the Springboks (version 98)
Big worry for me is Foster has no idea as an attack coach
We are floundering getting much gain at the advantage line and I dont see what we are trying to achieve with the ball in hand at times. -

@chris the question i am asking myself at the minute , given what we saw with the All Blacks last yeat , has our forward play in all the NZ super teams dropped dramaticly since the South African teams have left super rugby …?.
It well be masking over the quality we are seeingI am inclined to think our forward play has dropped off since SA teams are no longer in the comp.
They gave a point of difference in SR,Australia play similar to us so it’s same all the time.
Our SR teams don’t have the big hard SA packs to play against anymore.Sure they didn’t always get the results but the SA teams many times had to go on 4 or 5 week tours to NZ and Australia which took it toll.
My opinion the SR comp is worse off without SA. -
RE: Wallabies vs All Blacks 3 (Perth)
Ok I officially love Akira he has x Factor real teamwork there he could have scored himself.
I am converted. -

What a dick lol, I half wish Akira had clocked him to teach him a lesson, but then we wouldn't have him for SA.
He may be a dick and drunk but at least someone who wore the Black jersey is giving it to the players for a few shit years of bringing the AB jersey down to the level it is now..There must be a lot of ex AB's upset at what is happening to the legacy they helped build.

RE: All Blacks vs Ireland - series decider
Foster quotes from this week
“This is where you want to be in terms of the excitement,” he said. “We don’t want to lose a test, but we have, and to have a big game in front of us like this means the eyes go really quickly from looking back to forward. We’ve had some big days, but that’s the way it should be. The work that’s been done is fantastic.
**My Question MR Foster do you need to lose to get excited about fronting up in the Black jersey by losing the week before ?.
Is not pulling on that jersey enough to get the team excited.“I can’t wait to play Ireland. We’re learning … well I think we already knew, but everyone else is learning that this is a high-quality team we’re playing. It’s a great examination for us. So we’ve got to show we’re smart and we’re learning as well.”
What have you learned in the last few years you have been involved not much that I can see.If you already knew it why did we play so. badly.
Just more BS Dribble with the same outcomes. -

@Damo Codie Taylor was poor, missed a crucial tackle and poor throwing, Ethan Blackadder were anonymous.
I thought Reece was one of thier better players.
Blackadder didn't play lol

@ARHS strange because not only did he get a wicket, but conceding 8 was comparatively cheap and he was not seen again in the innings especially when compared to the expensive mess that was Tickner, Ferguson..
Ferguson was always likely to get overs regardless but not bowling Bracewell again in my mind was not the right decision.
Yep totally agree

@Chris I'm not blaming him for the 20/20's, hence why I said ODI's
Fair enough Santner was terrible as a captain.
He Bowled Bracewell one over, he took the first wkt in his first over and never bowled again.
He set shit fields not protecting the right angles.
I was not impressed by his thought process at all in defending the aggressive approach the Indians took.
He seem to panic.I actually thought it was clever bowling Bracewell early and had immediate impact, even Listers first over from his first end was good. Then Santner removed Bracewell completely and bowled Lister from the other end both after one over....strange
It was then it was thrown out the window .Panic set in.

In the first ODI when they came up with the stat that Latham had a 91% winning record as captain I knew that wasn't going to last, and bless them, they proved me right
Still it's a tough ask to win in India.
Latham was not Captain for the 20/20s he is back in NZ.
Santner Was captain.
So you cant blame him for the 20/20 captaincy. -
RE: Foster, Robertson etc
I just started reading this thread again,It really has nothing new does it, rehashing the old stuff.
As long as the coach is new with fresh ideas and revitalises things I am good with whoever the NZR select as long as we have change. -

Watching the Kings for the first time in a while. Foulkes is an interesting bowler. I haven't seen inswing like that since, jeez, Lance Cairns? He looks very awkward for the batters. I hear he can hold a bat too.
You have to admire a guy like Cairns for having the legacy he does when he averaged 16 with the bat.
All about the MCG knock that legend status.
Big, but not only factor. Others include (but not limited to):
- Couple of big hits in THAT Eden Park ODI
- hitting it over the stand at Carisbrook
Yep that one at Carisbrook was pretty big.A Lance flick was all it was.

Paywalled but is it always this early before the world cup?
No it's always after the WC early the next year, interesting it maybe pre world cup.
I suppose a way to give Foster 4 more years , I suppose they can't dump him if he hasn't failed at the WC, if he has been reappointed on what he has done so far it must be good enough to keep going if he wants. There's a big difference between giving someone embedded in the group a last year to improve after being within days of being sacked, and saying that performance is good enough for the next four years and not giving someone else a go. Foster is gone after the world cup, no way he is going to stay. The reason they are starting the process early is because they don't have foster mark 2 ready to take to coach, they need to catch the best coaches ASAP. Being left with whomever Scotland didn't want is not good
Agree it should be that way and I hope it is, but as I keep saying I do not trust the NZR to get the job done properly.
