The Preston signing has been mentioned in the article by ClubRugby.co.nz below, they are usually spot on.

World Rugby has announced that a series of law trials aimed at enhancing both fan and player experience have moved a step closer towards global adoption following successful trials and endorsement from the international federation’s Executive Board.

Saw this and thought I'd see what this group think.

World Rugby confirms the 20-min red card will be implemented across the global game, as well as 7 other changes coming:

⏱️60 conversion shot-clock
⏱️ 30-second scrum and lineout limit, managed by the referee
💪 Marking inside the 22m line from a restart
🏉 Single-stop mauls: The ball must be played after one stoppage in a maul
🏉 Play-on un-straight line outs when uncontested
🏉 Protection of the scrum-half at scrums, rucks and mauls.
📺 Television Match Official (TMO) protocol, empowering officials to spot clear infringements in the final phases before scoring.
🟥 A red-carded player can be replaced with another player after 20 minutes

Subject to approval, World Rugby will work to finalise the timeline and processes for adoption at a global level from 1 January.

I’m fairly sure during our darkest days just before Ross Taylor made his debut that we fielded a top order with ZERO test centuries between them at one stage ? The only hundreds in the team belonged to McCullum and Vettori at 7 and 8.

Is that true or did I imagine it ?

How has Cashmore been going? Haven't paid much attention to him tbh.

That's not what happened. Reihana started for the Rebels in Round 10 and the Crusaders won.

He was then demoted to the bench the next game against the Reds and the Crusaders lost.

You are correct I was thinking about Reihana started wk1 then Reihana was injured and missed 3 rds then re hurt the shoulder and missed the last rds.
Certainly James Marshall made some strange calls along with Penny,Marshall was a big mover in signing OConnor.

Why did he get selected and come off the bench in the game after the Rebels if he had an injured shoulder?

Since I can not answer in the other thread I will here.
Reihana had a stinger to the shoulder and was unavailable for the Rebels game so they tried Havilli,
Reihana recovered for the next game and they eased him back on the bench.
