Have been out of the gym because of this sore back. Chiro is working on my right hip which is rotated in a weird way, and that is not helping my lifting in any fashion.
So I'm avoiding squats for now, and working on isolating each leg as a starting point. Did some incline single leg press today at 100kg and then jacked it up a bit before going for both legs somewhere north of 200kg. In between that, did bench press 70kg and some bent row, before finishing off with chinups.

You may have already mentioned this, not sure yet but have you been to the Optometrist ? I went last week, good news for me is that my short sightedness is correcting itself as I get older and they predicted my vision will be back to 20/20 by my mid 40s. I also got told off for not cleaning my contacts well enough and keeping them for far longer than I should on account of my Scottish thriftiness and not wanting to spend money. I often wear my glasses but hate going out on sunny days without shades and it's incredibly hard to find bi focal glasses that don't make you look like a complete and utter rapist.
They also did a scan of my eyes and from that concluded that I'm generally pretty healthy, no bad cholesterol, diabetes etc.
Anyway, my point is they might discover something that the doctors can't ?

I did that a while ago. So far have covered the following:
Optometrist
Cranial MRI
Blood tests
Full torso Xray
Carotid UltrasoundNothing out of the ordinary found. A bit of age showing on the spine in a couple of places. Otherwise I think its got to be some kind of muscular/nerve thing. So far, several sessions of chiro haven't help, but that can often take time.
Got a new mattress coming this week to help with the spinal relaxation. Going to the neurologist for his opinion next month (when the fluffybunny stops pushing back the appointments).
I went for a walk yesterday and tried a gentle jog for about 100m and it started even there. I think I really need to go back to basics on the diet and hydration, and just go walking. A lot.
Did a bushwalk with the family a couple of Sundays ago, which is good for the legs and back

Need to do more of this as the weather warms.

As I mentioned in my thread a good walk is all sorts of awesome, loved the one I did in Raro even if it was a genuine climb a lot of the time.
Sux whatever it is though dude, at our age the need to sprint is obviously less than when we were younger but it is truly shit when the body doesn't do what it is supposed to.

Christ, we're all maudlin here while the bromance levels in @JK's thread are off the charts!!
Hope you work out what that vision issue is bro. Sounded like the weights were going ok but you just lost a bit of momentum? That shit is gonna happen. Because life. Have you sussed out what sort of lifting you can do alongside chiro treatment?

All I've figured out so far is NOT squats and deadlifts
One good one I sort of sussed out for myself when coming back from back cockups is going into the deadlift set-up and actually just going thru the motions of the lift... with no weight or bar. Squatting down, head level, shoulders back, going through motion of lifting the bar up to your chest, sort of "pulling" as hard as you can and holding it there. Does the trick!
Lifting the bar to your chest isn't a deadlift @Dr-شبكة-خبارية

, wft is the one where you squat down and lift the bar up to your chest without standing all the way up?
Bent row.
Played a bit of touch footy last night with some of the guys from the rugby club. Lungs are shit. Migraine symptoms came on after about 5 minutes but I kept going. Fuck it - I'm the President!
