Legs today and back to basics
A good 25min ride to warm up then usual mobility stuff.
Change up was to start with the hammies first today and get pumped up before squats. Made the squats feel a tad different in that felt much more solid down in the bottom of the squat. Will def do again.
Squats weren't heavy today but 4 working sets of 8 reps at 120kg. Felt pretty good but last few reps bit of a grind in the latter sets.
Leg press - 3 sets of 25 reps to finish off the quads
Straight leg deads - 3 sets of 20 for the stretch.
Calves - 4 sets seated raises, 4 sets using leg press
Finished with 3 x 1 min worth of bench jump overs (did heaps of these at f45 so thought to add them in) and some abs work.

Major legs DOMS last few days. Been really feeling it.
Yesterday did 30mins cardio and some abs work which was a circuit of 6 exercises then 1 min skipping break before repeating 5 times through
This morning the usual shoulders (giant set of 5 exercisies, 5 times through) and arms for a friday.
-
There are two immutable laws of the gym. Monday is chest day, and Friday is arm day!!
-
No update for a week.
Trained friday briefly being flew out to Melb - just arms and abs
Binge drank all weekend and hardly ate.
Back in gym yesterday for pull and some cardio.
Today did light legs (knee a bit shite still) and cardio.
Tomorrow will be push. Thurs prob light legs and cardio
Friday shoulders and arms
Abs errryday -
@jk lol the tummy bloat you mean, not that sweet, sweet bloat in yo wallet after the boys get paid trip!!

Week done and good one both training and eats wise. Feels like have tightened up considerably after dropping the oats. Probably actually pretty close to keto for the week. Only carbs have been fast carbs (ANS Carb HP) I use at training with my BCAAs. Otherwise heaps of protein and salad and veges. Got the wife on the shred train too which means shes serving up salmon fillets etc and lots of good stuff in the fridge to help us get there.
Training been the usual for the week plus abs everyday and a bit of cardio mixed in as well

Good weeks eating and training other than knee giving me issues.
I really should go see someone again but just doing what I did last time, which took time but fixed it (for a few years at least). Lots of riding and hot bean bag thing on it in evenings. No squats.
Feeling pretty lean. Bit of a refeed day today with a whole lot more carbs.
Wife away for weekend for queenstown half marathon so expecting plenty of beer carbs to be consumed next few days

Glad you got some action in before she left.

Another week, another curl (or two). Training and eating good, well mostly.
Need to get some high intensity training in there some how. Seems to be what I am missing this year and due to knee holding me back I'm not keen to go run stairs etc like I use to do a lot.
Will sort out something over the weekend to get some in there next week. Maybe a couple of days circuit training type stuff. I'd like to do F45 again but knee definitely wouldnt handle it

go see a doc or physio bro! at least to find out what you can do without crocking it further
-
Another week goes by with no time to see a physio or doc. No training skipped tho with good sessions every day and good eats. Should be in good nick for summer if it ever turns up
Shoulders and arms today and chucked in some good old dips superset with tricep pressups. Today did them as countdowns starting 10 dips then 9 pressups then 8 dips etc down to 1. Did three of those bad boys near end of workout. Good fun

Whoops no updates for a while!
Training done (well ahead of xmas). Been consistent as usual. Diet a bit here, a bit there. In pretty good shape, abs there, good feedback from people I know, feeling good but not too skinny at just under 80kg which is about right for a lean me.
Knee ok but havent been training legs. Lots of riding for cardio and occasional cross trainer. Knee handling it fine.
Just need some sun now for the tan!
Merry xmas all
