Poor Aussie. So close on this tour.

The Irish 8 was great. Aussie 14 was very good

Yeah. If I was Aus I'd not be despondent moving into next year. Especially considering the side of the draw they're on.

Guess we are going to have to get used to the likes of this style of rugby being successful in the NH especially in a WC year. Not a great ad for the game. Coincidentally a disallowed try due to discipline the difference in both ours and the Aus game.

Lost very narrowly to the top two teams but also lost to what the 14th or 15th ranked side….

Didn't say they don't have work ons

Gold 21 joins maul with zero material effect and is penalised. In the last 3 minutes of the game.
I'm assuming it happened multiple times beforehand with zero sanction. Great timing by the AR.
A minute later, the Wallabies steal the lineout, and Green 17 steps ahead of last feet, then doesn't quite retreat, with zero material effect. AR is silent.
Love me a bit of consistency

Injury toll being one of the primary issues we have.
But fucking hell our discipline is rubbish and our execution swings from the sublime (try v France) to the utterly mediocre (about 40% of our own rucks).

From 1 to 8, possibly 9 in the rankings (which anyone with common sense knows is rubbish) these teams can beat each other on the day. Great to see rugby so competitive. The AB's dominated for so long it was destroying the game but it has absolutely boomed in the last decade thanks to better coaching and the sport rising in the public eye. The World Cup is going to be very interesting.

@The-Irishman Australia couldn't beat a small pile of dog turd.

They beat SA and didn't lose at home to the Argies.
-
@The-Irishman Whats that like 2 in 15 or something?

Yep, combine that with O'Keefe screaming at Ireland to let the ball go at that ruck, which would have been a kickable penalty even for Foley, and Oz can feel a bit hard done by.

Bro, why do you only ever come here to whinge? Can't you just go to GnGR to do that?
