All the restrictions came into effect here yesterday at noon. The nightly news showing people still not taking it seriously police were berating people in the street sending people home and closing shops, that thought the rules didn't apply to them.
Here in the countryside its not as much of a disruption but still noticeably less traffic around today.
I've seen people describe the majority of these people as the 'new-French'. Any truth in that or is it across the board?
On the news it was in the 18th, so a lot of immigrants. But it's not just them. In the town in Paris I stay in all the rich people have just been given a bollocking and all parks and green spaces are now closed. As people were letting their kids play together in them.
