@rotated to the best of my knowledge the NRL has never made claims that **they help develop better people... **they file that under their wishful thinking outcomes.
I’m probly mistaken, but I thought it was “Better people make better ABs,” and not the other way around.
That sounds about right to me. I can’t recall the cartel or AB management at the time making reference to the ABs being the reformist colony where players came out of as newfound 100% law abiding citizens.
They definitely talked about character and didn’t shy away from referring to a player as a “good person” if it was warranted.
On Hayman, any of these stories of indiscretion and violence are very sad and impact so many more people than those directly involved.
Monday Weigh in.
Weight 78.9 (Down 0.3Kg, 4.1kg since start )
Bodyfat 21.5% (Down 0.2%)
Nothing to mention knee still fucked when I bend it in odd ways so trying not to do that too much. Don't feel like its holding me back much anyway
34.4Km this week, but again only 3 runs. Managed a 17k on the weekend so that was nice. But need to get that 4th day in somehow to keep the wheels turning. Going to be hard this week as I am off to the Cricket on the weekend so need to work hard during the week. Over all the pace is okay. Will try and do a speed work out this week. If I am going to ditch the club I need to be disciplined in these kind of workouts.
Was doing awesome all week then decided that we would have a family cheat day on the Saturday. Was middle ones school show then a fair at the school afterwards. Didn't go crazy. But its the first bread and sugar I have had in a while and the body rebelled badly the next two days messing up my progress. Still 0.3Kg is not to be sneezed at.
Weird one this week. I have felt pretty good but the misses says I have been very quiet and a bit hard on the kids. Got a boys weekend this week so can recharge a bit. Had a great time at the weekend with the kids at the school fair.

Great atmosphere for this game with over 99 thousands packing in the stands. But the standard of play is very low which is quite amazing when you look at the names of the players who are on the pitch. Top 14 is just scrums and penalties.

well while they may not support 10% etc they sure do show some decent progressive. Pretty impressive for 6 weeks mate!
Yeah like I said I doubt the percentages are very accurate, but short of shelling out a 100 Euros a week for a body tank test. I used the most accurate method at my disposal, which I assume is the method that takes the most site readings.
heres another thought: hire a bike
I hired a mountain bike from a cycle shop down the road from the walky... watched the abs vs ireland game, hired a bike, rode to wimbledon, watched the safas v scotland and rode back... its outdoors, you get to explore sides of the city you wouldnt usually see (and the women in the sun) plus its a workout. its not the cheapest option (depending on the rental fare) but its a very enjoyable way of getting cardio.Â
