half time. just the final pass letting the Aussies down as well as some sloppy penalties. Ireland all the ball and territory

Aussie try from lineout from Nice worked move, that could hurt the Irish come the 80th minute. Do Haylet-Petty and B Smith have the same father, I swear they move the same.

Aussie making it look like hard work. Why bloody throw it to Hooper in the lineout?

If Aussie manage to reduce the dumb errors they'll be well back in it, but if they control play rattled Ireland should churn out a win.

Irish pack playing fairly awesome again. Luckily for Australia Ireland haven't done as much as they could with 70% possession and territory. Will come down to whether Ireland have enough left in the tank.

And they're spot on. With that amount of possession, they should have more.

Ireland have lost two already. And Carbery playing FB. Australia have to take advantage in the second half. The bench will make a difference if the scoreline margin stays the way it is - in the backline.

That was taken back, should be a lineout where he kicked it.

Jesus Payne off now . Midfield of Jackson, Carberry, Ringrose is very, very small.

Joe looking a bit foolish for selecting Kearney and Payne with injury doubts now.

Wouldn't mind the pack sticking this up the jumper for 40 minutes now.

But does that no concur with exactly what the commentator was saying?

The scoreboard doesn't reflect the effort put in. That's as much a reflection on our poor execution as anything else.

@munstergreen possibly, i took it as they deserve to have more points , no mention was made that their execution with all their possession in both games was lacking a bit

@kiwiinmelb yeah fair enough. Like I said last week our commentators are garbage.

I'd like to think most of us recognise that selecting conservative, not fit defenders across a backline stifles our attack.
