@ACT-Crusader bet you weren't saying that early in the 4th on Saturday when Carlton were coming.

Of every team who aren't the Lions, i would be most happy to Nick Riewoldt win a flag, so yea, the Saints would be alright.

    nah, never in doubt 🙂

Bluesers ran out of puff and Billings and co started to be ball magnets in that final 15 minutes.

I'm enjoying the comp so far this year. The talking heads on all the TV and radio shows seem a little baffled by it all, because they love talking up one or two teams (because it's easy), now they have to do some genuine analysis rather than Swans this or Hawks that they have done for years.

Loved the one journo that is based in Adelaide, a couple of weeks ago as parochial as ever saying about the Crows "it's hard to see where they will lose a game". The following two weeks they not only lose, but get outplayed quite easily.

Gotta love Tigers and Pies losing at the death like that

Anyone from Melbourne able to verify that the Saints boys were giving mark Murphy shit for his wife fucking Carey?

@mariner4life lots of rumours going around about what happened and that was one of them. The other being Murphy taunting Carlisle about the Bombers drugs saga.

@ACT-Crusader yep, i understand that's what started it all, the bombers and the columbian marching powder; the retort involves his wife, and shit hits the fan.

Mark Murphy's wife is really hot

I think it's pretty clear now that Carlisle taunting Murphy about this. Dumb stuff and pretty unnecessary. Not a fan of Carlisle. I don't mind a bit of 'trash talk' to try and put someone off their game, but this sort of attack that drags in another person where it's rumour and innuendo based, shouldn't be tolerated.

Agreed. Love a bit of on-field mouth, but there is definitely a line, and that is waaay beyond it.

Robbo on AFL360 is such a fucking piston wristed gibbon. Last night he was trying to paint as a watershed moment where things will change. Bullshit it will. It didn't last time it properly blew up (Will Minson both times wasn't it?) and it won't the next time either.

A massive stretch by Robbo. My view is things will only change in this regard not because of this, but only if individuals make that choice themselves. And as we know some individuals will beat to their own drum no matter what has happened in the past.

Why is the media referring to this as a brawl? At best, it was a melee. Waste of everyone's time. If the sledge had that response, it was a great sledge.

    3 weeks in a row , less than a goal ,

if they were wins , outright first on the ladder, 2 were wins , first equal .

but 3 losses , prob outside the 8 , its a fine line sometimes ,

but 5-4 what they have, is probably more realistic where they sit anyway

Good of the Crows to take their training run to Brisbane don't you think @mariner4life ?

In all honesty I suspect you're probably somewhat inured to Lions results.

@booboo i predicted 150-50 do we wete 20 points better than that.

Just a team of kids, you can't expect anything better, but it's hard to see a future when Melbourne clubs come calling every year.

We are the Swans bunnies. Whether it's home, nZ or Sydney, we just can't beat them. Buddy has had a day out every game since he moved.

And yes what a finish by GWS.... 🙂

Jesus what has happened to the Saints? That was poor on the weekend. Their next 5 look tough as well

Hawthorn close to within a win of the 8...

Brisbane lost their 9th in a row, and i can't see us winning again this year.

Adelaide flying again (after Brisbane played them back in to form), and that was a good win for GWS, in Perth with half their team out. Comp still seems wide open to me

What a club. Hawthorn are having a shit year, but still find something in themselves to set an AFL record.

Anyone watch the Queens Birthday game yesterday? Best game i have seen this year i reckon, really intense, and enough errors to keep it fun. End to end stuff, both teams kick a hundred. And Collingwood lost. Great stuff.

But, that result pales in to insignificance against the greatness that is the Lions absolutely hammering Freo. 10 goals? Fuck off home Dockers. A couple of days after we keep Schache, and then a bunch of guys re-signed today, it's actually starting to look up.

Suns get a win on the back of the greatest of all time. Carlton knock over GWS. Bombers hammer Port. Glad i am not doing footy tipping.
