The Saracens are being butchered at the moment. 😧
It's only a small relief to know that so many first choice players aren't in the squad yet.

Last preseason game tomorrow (Friday 11/8) v Manawatu.
    Kick-off 4.35pm @ CET Arena, Palmerston North.

Has anyone seen the Magpies line-up? Nothing on the Magpies FB page yet; it looks like the HBRU are continuing the bad practice of revealing line-ups via the HBT on the morning before the game ...

A telling sentence referring to Mr. Philpott in the press article

"World champion Baby Blacks head coach Philpott has made no secret of the fact it's his intention to guide the Magpies back to the Premiership.
It's time for his troops to show they are ready for that quest."

Significantly it does not refer to when, or which year, his intention is to met.

If you are reading this Mr. Bishop please mark it down in your diary...................

Not really - his contract expires at the end of this year.

Unless, of course, you know he will be re-signed for 2018?

    Half time: Manawatu 14 - 0 Hawke's Bay

Manawatu tries scored by Te Rangatira Waitokia and Sione Asi; conversions Te Rure.
Apparently, the Turbos came close to scoring a third try on more than one occasion.
