    In my weekend off I managed to referee 3 halves of rugby games yesterday. The leg held up OK, but I ought to have put on sunscreen before going out in the blazing Australian sun. <br />
    <br />
    Other than for the bulge in the middle, I look like fucking a Beehive matchstick.

    <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I added the f word belately, for colour and effect. Sadly I did not add it in the correct place, but now have a new exercise routine in the planning involving a matchstick.

    MvJ went Fatbusting tonight at Referees' training, nearly keeping up with the fat old bastards twice his age. Again we did over 5km of sprints (plus a 4km walk home for MvJ), 400s and 200s this time. I hate 400s. I think it blew out the steak and ales last night.  <br />
    <br />
    Hopefully I'll spent tomorrow morning on my exercycle, a jog to work and a run after work. Friday I'm speaking at a breakfast (must have been pissed when I put my hand up for that one), so the Friday morning exercise session will be foregone. Pretty easy lower-grade game this weekend, which suits me fine at the moment.

    Yes, 400s got to be high on the hate list.  <br />
    <br />
    A drill from training days, mentioned before on the nuts n bolts forum.  10 laps of the rugby field, and you have 2 minutes to do each one.  Backs target is 1:05, forwards 1:15, which gives you 45 seconds rest if you're a fatty.  Was able to do all ten under 1;15 when I was a young fella.  Would be lulcky to do one under 2:00 now I reckon!!!!

    That would be my response <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I managed to beat one out of myself on Monday, but not nearly 2 minutes. Next step is 2 laps, then 3. After 5 I'll worry about time <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    no it's not the first FB injury. I've been mentioning in my log a dodgy knee for several weeks now. Shows how much attention is being paid to the entries I make. :whistle:<br />

    thanks for that Kirwan.  :happy: <br />
    <br />
    On a related issue, I've had a nerve problem in my foot for years, and 'someone' said to me that my knee pains might just be due to the nerve pinching being tranferred from one area to another :nta Is this possible? The 'someone' in question told me they had the same woes, but got it fixed with one trip to the podiatrist? :nta <br />
    <br />
    Any thoughts there, fatbusting fellows?

    Do you mean my weekend fishing? Well, yes.....some good mud crabs, sand crabs and plenty of whiting and bream as sushimi, and one really big flathead. I'm happy today. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    You may laugh my friend, but by Christ, there's few things better or more healthy than a fresh feed of seafood. :coolsmiley: You should try it.

    I love seafood, but haven't you heard? Seafood here in Oz is shit compared to NZ - ask any of the Kiwis here <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> No bloody eye deer <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    I think the key here would be FRESH nick.  Most people in NZ can go out and collect their own Kaimoana, or have a mate who does.  When they hit AUssie, the go to a restaurant, and get frozen ten week old shite...

    nailed it in one there, Bart. Had a mate who worked in the Sydney fish markets and apparently some seafood products would sit in the window for more than a week before some poor soul purchased it. :sealedlips: Just wrong! I'm just very happy and lucky I have access to catching and preparing my own. A lot of people don't even know the difference, because they've never had the fresh stuff.  :nta

    My sister's a podiatrist and when I rang her up with a sore ankle she told me to "take a hard pill."
