    @african-monkey He makes a lot of plays and plays bigger than his size. It's good he's got a contract now.

    That was a great try from Otago, although the defence from the Turbos was awful.

    Of the 6 outside backs in this game 5 look dangerous. The other is Michael Collins.

    @kiwimurph

    He’s a really good communicator though.

    Thompson looking dangerous every time he touches it. If you were told that one All Black was playing in for Manawatu and didn’t know, you’d automatically assume it’s him - just a class above.

    He doesn't get much love from some Ferners (quite the opposite) but that was a great try from Michael Collins.

    @stargazer

    I think it’s mainly just that he should be a Super rugby squaddie, rather than the player you select your back line around.

    Edit: and he did well to score it. Intelligently done.

    Great try is overdoing it - was a nice finish but nothing special.

    Laloifi is a quick runner, but he can't kick.
    Otago score again and lead 33 - 17. This is getting ridiculous.

    Yep, they deserved to pay for that, because he’s had a few bad ones.

    This is a pretty good game. Lots of running rugby.

    @stargazer just finished watching that game as well,totally staggered by the Turbos capitulation in the 2nd half.
    To be well beaten 2 x weeks in a row heavily given some of the talent they have available is staggering.
    One player they seem to be missing big time is Jackson Hemapo,it does my head that he was not realised for this game,can understand Laumape not playing but the Hemapo one is madness..

    On saying that,they were well beaten.

    Maybe Hemopo is playing in the Argentina match?

    @nepia to me it still stinks,you see TJ and Ardie running around last night after getting game time last week..I know they go on about managing a players workload,but Hemapo comes off the bench as opposed to starting,I will be stunned..

    Hey I know how you feel, they didn't release the best player in the world for the Magpies!
