Time to develop depth and build into the season.

Also, two weeks for that? Ridiculous.

Credit where it's due, you've stuck with the Lions since you started following them, back in 2002-03?

Closer to seven statistically, well those that would actually become members. They had more during the great war than they did in 1987. Amazing what winning does.

Reds managed to fill out Suncorp not too long ago.

What did you think of Hardwick's post match comments?

Bang on. Players need to step up and not hope a Brownlow/ Norm Smith medalist plays brilliantly. ALso if the umpires are going to elt that shit happen off the ball, the AFL needs to accept a player will sooner or later take matters into his own hands.

I think we actually played better against GWS than we did the Pies, we just need to take our chances.

Dusty was dumb. Cheap shot. Hardwick needs to give him a serve I reckon. He’ll get two weeks and Richmond will lose the next two.

It was stupid and deserved punishment , My only complaint is the inconsistency, i

Pretty much identical to Tom Mitchell last year , who gets off scott free , wins the Brownlow ,

    How does that work ?

@mariner4life I agree , but those making these decisions should be made accountable, just like the players have to be with their decision making .

    Dusty's suspension halved on appeal.

@mariner4life haven’t seen the ruling yet but it looked medium impact.

Kennedys evidence worked in favor of martin ,

Giant Adam Kennedy – who was on the receiving end of the elbow – gave evidence via phone and described it as “a good knock”, but had maintained that he had stepped into Martin's path "to be a little bit of a nuisance", had expected impact and that he had first been struck on the shoulder. (HS)

And on my other monitor the Tigers overcome Port with a rookie midfield. Not going to lie, tipped the other way.

I watched the game , some of the kids really stood up , to be 2-2 in the middle of an injury crisis is not too bad at all.

@mariner4life I've long realised there's no such thing as karma. For decades I've waited for McAvaney to die a slow painful in a horrific accident as payback for his commentary on sport. And the passengers in the same vehicle would be the people who keep hiring him.

Decent presenter but his AFL commentary gives me the shits. He talks up most everything and everyone. Any bloke who ever lines up a goal is a "good kick" etc etc. Grating.
