I had Norway in my top 3 as well. Apparently they may have been screwed on the professional judges votes a bit - the judges see a separate performance, and during that the video screen died affecting their performance. They asked to be able to take it again, and were told no.
I've listened to the screechy Poland song a couple more times since they lost in their semi - it is growing on me

Er yes. Israel at least has a Mediterranean coast and the Arabs won't let them in anywhere anyway. Australia is slightly further to the east. Like farking the other side of the planet.

True it pretty much is Europe, whereas Australia has never had anything to do with it, does Australia even have any ties to Britain or Italian/Greek immigrants?

Well shît, then why not include New Zealand. The US and Canada too. And South Africa. India was a British colony, chuck them in as well. Yes, Israel being part of Eurovision is stupid, but including Australia is utterly farking retarded.

That's just silly. It makes more sense if they include a country 14,000km away because migrants.

Sounds a bit like Australia. Those buggers go nuts for stuff like that, it was all over the TV when I was there and has been for thirty years or something so they got invited to join for some anniversary thing and of course never left. Typical.

Tbh it's not very big here. But, like in Europe, it's huge among the people Foulhow says will go hell and I don't mean the fornicators and alcoholics.
