@jegga Have you heard of the TimeGhost youtube channel?

They've done a weekly World War 1 video series (10-20 minute episodes) discussing what happened in the week in "real time". The whole series is complete.

They started the WW2 version last year so it will be running for a few more years yet.

They also do videos on the inter war years and specific topics.

    The Great War

    The Great War

The Great War covers the era of the First World War from its causes and origins to its violent aftermath. Jesse Alexander covers the important events that influenced the world over 100 years ago. Form 2014 - 2018, Indiana Neidell followed the main events of what is classically considered as World...

    TimeGhost History

The TimeGhost History Channel is home to multiple historical documentaries. In Between Two Wars, we cover the eventful interwar years between The Great War and World War Two. The World Dicktionary highlights one controversial character of human history for every letter of the alphabet and the Cuban...

There's a lot of stuff you're already going to know but they're good series with interesting tidbits of information and good presenters.

@Nepia I’m probably going to start with the Versailles too harsh one . I’ve been reading about the Freikorps and the power plays in post war Germany.

The returning German soldiers got a parade when they got home which was something I was unaware of, the attitude seems to have been that they weren’t beaten but sold out by their leaders .

Yeah, that's an interesting one, the inter war series is really good as you get to see all the different groups/movements/personalities of that time. I was unaware of the (relatively) small civil wars and various armed clashes in a host of countries at that time.

Yeah , the Soviet Union vs Poland isn’t one that gets a lot of stuff written about it .
