0-0, after 15 minutes, strong Welsh defence effort so far.

Is Tompkins renowned as a terrible defender? If not, it appears he should be. Makes Mo'unga look solid.

The Irish fullback, Lamour in for the first try after 19 minutes. Tompkins missed the tackle. Very soft defence after good work up to then.

Ireland with almost all the territory and possession.

    Silence. Sexton hooks it. 5-0.

Try to Ireland. Furlong rumbles over. Giving hope to fat props everywhere. Converted.

Ireland dominating possession but look wooden in attack. A poor missed tackles and a halfback error have gifted them 2 tries.

Ireland looking like an old school England team who spend a long time in the gym or working in their scrums, line outs and mauls, but not so much on passing and catching the ball.

Tipuric gets a consolation try for Wales. Time up. 24-14 to Ireland.

2 from 2 for Ireland. Heading to Twickenham in two weeks time and a possibility of a Triple Crown.
