Oh yeah, did a 5km walk in the arvo too. Athlete.
Bro, it's #athlete. That's what the cool kids tell me anyway.
You need to line up some family or friend for a Skype call bro, this is not the time to start talking to yourself in the mirror again.

I've done all that already, why else do you think I'm back on the fern ?

@MN5 I figured it was either new missus or you just did your most ever pull ups.
I have to be careful with her. She'll get me out running with her if I'm not careful. I did go to Round the Bays earlier this year.
I think I'm about two short of my best ever chins but I'm 43 next week.

normally a new missus means you don't have to do as many pull...
wait, pull ups as you were

Well fuck. Decided to chuck in a second run this afternoon after doing one with the other half this morning and of course had a lower calf blowout when I tried to up the pace a bit to get around some footpath dawdlers.
Hopefully not much of a strain and it's just having a moan at the extra work (it's the same side as I tore Achilles), felt like cramp at first.

Ugh. That sucks. I hate that feeling, and the limp home (reminiscent of the uni walk-of-shame).

I've been going for a walk / jog every morning in lockdown, for up to an hour. Have dropped 5kg in four weeks. This morning I jumped on the exercycle Mrs Shark hired pre-lockdown and did 11.5km. Hoping to sneak under the ton, for the first time since probably about 2003.

That's a far cry from the glory days of marking Cory Jane at club Rugby.

After the story you told me last week I can see how shame would be an unfamiliar concept.

About a million times less embarrassing.

Yeah so that jog lasted 400m and the calf is now tight further up, think might be passing down from my hammy.
Not dreading leg day anymore and smoked UB day today (well for me), managed to get through 2 sets, so will be starting to look to add more to that too.
Hopefully run Thursday!

Well made it to 1km and felt the calf tightening after a slight uphill, so turned back to make it 2km - pretty happy with that. Calf doesn't feel damaged, but definitely tight and feels on the mend. Yay!
Odd thing also in that I don't think it's swollen, but has really started to match the size/shape of my other calf over the last couple of weeks, which is neat!
