    Shit, is that official? Only one easy trip to Florida this season, as the Dolphins have also recruited well and have a squillion draft pics. Don't know when the last time was that anyone could say that.

    Draft is on and live at the moment. No surprises, Joe Burrow goes 1 to Cincinatti. Chase Young to Skins for the second pick.

    Should start to get interesting now...

    Who will take Tua?

    @canefan Dolphins took him.

    The very next pick the Chargers get their QB with Justin Herbert. I think Tua would've rather fell one spot in the draft, because Herbert has far better weapons to work with.

    Looks like Tua was pleased to go to Miami. According to ESPN he is likely to be the understudy to Ryan Fitzpatrick. Considering his injuries and the fact the team isn't good, I'd keep him out for most if not all of the season. Let him hold a clipboard and learn the systems all the while giving him valuable healing time for the long term

    The big shocker was the Packers.

    The Packers hadn't selected an offensive skill position player in the first round since picking Rodgers in 2005 - Rodgers has 4 years left on his contract - it was the deepest WR draft in a long time - so the Packers trade up to select...

    ..a quarterback. Jordan Love.

    Wow.

    @KiwiMurph Rodgers must be wondering who he has to kill to get some help

    I laughed at the comment that said, 'Rodgers will love Jordan Love like a brother'. If you don't know already, Rodgers' brother's name is Jordan and he hates him.

    Not a big fan of Rodgers, so the trade and pick is a bit funny to me.

    Have been watching some old NFL games while exercising.

    2014 Seahawks Packers, at Seattle, Championship game.

    Russell Wilson stunk. The Seahawks stunk. And yet, they burgled a late touchdown through a brave fake punt, and then managed a few minutes of magic at the end to draw it.

    I'll be honest, I almost turned off 10 minutes into the third quarter. DIdn't remember the result, and it looked like a dead game to me. How Wrong I Was. This had to be one of the great comebacks to win; up there with the Pats Falcons. Aaron and the Packers must have walked away shaking their heads wondering how they lost.

    @nzzp that was the beginning of the end of McCarthy as coach of Packers.

    Yeah, amazing with a talent like Rodgers that they didn't do better. What a talent.

    Their draft was terrible this year too. If that guys not at Wilson/Brady level, they should have grabbed some of the WR talent running around. Weird times.

    Any tips on great games to watch most welcomed, by the way.

    @nzzp the NFC title game the year prior - 2013 - 49ers-Falcons is a good watch too.

    As a Cowboys fan I would say the 1992-93 NFC Championship game against the 49ers at Candlestick. Their games in the early 90s were always classics because of the rivalry.

    @Bovidae @KiwiMurph cheers.

    One of the more memorable for me was the shitty (I think) wildcard playoff Steelers Bengals a few years back, where the Bengals absolutely blew it through anger and indiscipline. It was one of those rare pro games where people stopped being professional, and just started trying to kill or maim the opposition. Raw, brutal, engrossing but I felt a bit dirty watching tbh. Can google the year if anyone cares.

    Burfict is a nasty nasty player

    Source: Bears decline '21 option on QB Trubisky

    The Bears will not pick up the fifth-year option on QB Mitchell Trubisky, who finished last season 28th in Total QBR (39.4), tied for 27th in touchdown passes (17) and was 21st in passing yards (3,138).

    Fancy the Bears moving up to get him in the draft ahead of Mahomes and Watson. Ouch
