everyone see the woman who pasted the vid last week going through the check point...arrested yesterday for more or less doing the same thing, smashed her car window and dragged her out
-
@Kiwiwomble is it ever! I would definitely be pulling that over at every opportunity. @mariner4life agrees already.

More than 700 new cases in Victoria. I don't understand quite why it's still spreading in such large numbers.
700?!

@NTA the only thing id be slightly worried about is what you'd catch from her....
i could get a job in security

723 new cases and 13 people died
-
we've got a few cases in Qld now, it appears there was a 3rd girl.
It's here again. Prepare for another lockdown.
-
The irritating aspect was the vast majority of the original cases were people returning with the virus who should all have been quarantined. We didn't need to slam shut the economy back then, but now we've got community transmission in three most populous states, it looks inevitable.

Safe space bro.

The 3rd girl I thought hadn’t travelled to Melbourne but was subject to transmission.

i wouldn't want to be a premier for any amount of money right now
the "soft" lockdown hasnt done it...so now we either go full lockdown like nz...and get blamed for ruining the economy even more...or keep the current course and get blamed for lettign it get out of control

what we did last time worked fine, until one entry point was allowed to fuck up royally.

@mariner4life i was more meaning what we've done since it got out of the hotels

NSW is holding the line so far, we've been steady at around 15 cases a day for about three weeks now. It's not ideal but at least it's not going up. We can live normally with that sort of case load, but if it goes north of 30, 40 a day then it gets tough.
And Queensland is not at panic stations. The 3rd girl was a sister of one of the two returned Melbourne travellers. If you can get through the next few days without more positives then you'll be fine.

my son has a cough, been around since about Sunday night.
Doc today said a week ago there was no way he would send for a Covid test, the symptoms don't line up. Given the last couple of days, it's now recommended.
I had a cold last week, it has me googling the symptoms as well.
-
@mariner4life the symptom thing is weird
We've been getting told in vic even one flu or cold like symptom, even ones not previously associated with COVID to go get the test...because so many people are being found Asymptomatic
i dont know ow easy theyre to get outside vic, i had one a couple of weeks ago, just a cough, booked on line at lunch and had an appointment at 4...easy and results a couple of days later, dont understand those sitting in line for hours waiting for one
-
@Kiwiwomble we haven't had a case in Cairns in months, so it would be a pretty massive shock
