@taniwharugby nah just a light strain I think. Was feeling a bit tight and niggly at training and went to step to the outside and got the "ping".
Went to test this morning with a light jog before a 5km run and probably could have done it, but would have just made it worse. No restriction on walking or anything, so hopefully some drugs, deep heat and a bit of rest/walking might have it right for a Sunday run.

First proper legs only leg day in so many months...gonna be sore...
5x front squat superset with 8 bench/box jumps for 3 sets.
10x back squat superset with 60 secs squat jumps for 1 set.3 sets of - 12 dumbbell RDL into 20 calf raises into 20 jumping split lunges.
4 minutes of KB russian twists, 20 secs on, 10 off.
Done! In and out without her even noticing...

The thought of performing any sort of athletic activity, ie standing up and then walking, after a decent leg day fills me with all sorts of dread

DB press into DB fly, 10-12 reps
Close grip lat pulldown into close grip row (leaning back on pulldown) 10-12 reps3x
Woodchoppers followed by inverse woodchopper 12 reps each side.Rotisserie (supermans, side plank, crunches, side plank, front plank) 25 secs, followed by 15 secs.
Proper group rugby training tonight after a week off...will be interesting...

Hammy gave out about halfway through training again, bastard. Tips and tricks other than rest, ice, ibuprofen, deep heat? It's a funny one as it seems to start to tighten and then a few minutes later goes as I step off my left on the move.
Will start off with some decent walking and look to start to build up to sprinting then changing direction at pace...

Run straight
