Because Connor is a fluffybunny and Fay not much better.
However the deed of gift did stipulate a "match race" so define that how you will. It isn't an easy document.
Fay challenged in a "J" (from memory) class monohull. Connor showed up with a catamaran. Not a "match" which is why we now have the proper measures for the boats. All the same as motor sport now, in terms of weights, specs, etc. The AC 75 specs are pretty specific but leave room for teams to innovate. All good as I see it.

Just respect your elders, and when I say elders, I mean @Snowy who must be about 100?

    i mean, he likes sailing.

actually, quite the picture is forming. Former pilot, now in to sailing. i bet he flounces in to a country club, all silver hair and whitened teeth, pastel sweater crossed over his shoulders, blood under his fingernails....

You can be included in the dickheads comment.

I am intrigued how a comment can be "sort of" tongue in cheek. Either you're pregnant or you're not.
The post was as much about me remembering how it all came about, and I assumed that a corrector would be out there to help me, but the piss takers showed up.

Man you are harsh today. I'm not throwing my toys and leaving though, so bring it on.

I also don't have the power to delete your posts, so stubborn and weak is pretty much where I am.

I don't have the power to delete yours either as I am in conversation with you 🙂 (That was what BSG used to do apparently)

All in jest, sir!, All in jest!

I seem to recall you're relatively tall, from some historical posts? Maybe?
Whereas, the Baron was quite obviously a rather short man.
