Still training! But getting my shoulder sorted out at physio and doing lots of piss arse little cable exercises - is getting better though, so that is good, but a long road to go. Have been running with Mrs BartMan some mornings too, along with the rowing and 6kg side arm cable pull things!!Â

The rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated... Or something.

Anyway, not dead, still training. Rowing two 5k bursts a day between 18:20 and 18:40, and doing 3 or 4 weights sessions.

Shoulder getting closer to being tip top. Feel a bit of a pain in BOTH (not just right, the one that was seriously bung) shoulders the morning after a decent shoulder or chest workout, so still going softly softly on those two body parts, but getting up to full noise on the legs and back - based on squats and dead lifts.

Finally got back to a 100kg bench press on Monday night, only 5 reps for 1 set, but a start. built up to the weight, and then pyramided back down again.

Still doing the piss arse shoulder exercises once a week too - the stabiliser exercises. Think I will do those for ever - an insurance thing.

Weight back down to 96 after almost topping the ton again after Cruise a month or two back!!

That is all!!

Oh, and have now clocked 12 million 1 hundred thousand metres on the rower!!

Running. Now that Mrs BartMan and the BartMan clan is all ensconced in Whangamata (anyone need any beauty tratments while in Whangamata, you know who to call), I have started running with Mrs BartMan, and rowing has fallen away. SO Hooroo will know the run - we have been doing that track you and I went over.

Down to a best time of 41:32 now (this morning). Mrs BartMan was gunning it this morning, but has still not been able to make it up to the top of the second climb without a stop - when it comes, look out!

Have also been gyming 3 times a week, with a couple of 20 minutes rows thrown in their for good measure. Touch on Friday's for the Uzbekistan Crocs (sponsored by Croc shoes). Currently undefeated, out bard of 'rugby touch' (spin it wide and let the ball beat the man) proving hard to beat...

So will start listing the times, of the 'Hooroo Run', as that seems to be the main activity at the moment. Going to try and cracnk throuhg three a week - depends on how knees / ankles hold out running 3 times a week for 40 minutes - or rather 30, taking away the first ten minute walk up the hill!!

Monday 27 October: 'HR' 43:48
Friday 31 October: 'HR' 43:28
Tuesday 4 november 'HR' 41:32

OH, and readin gmy first post on this thread back in 2006 - February, when I was 105kg. Now back to 95 again (after cruise eating binge).
OK, so it was 95.9, but I only deal in whole numbers...

been crook over the weekend and exercised for the first time this morning. THe Hooroo run, without the Mrs.

Wednesday 12 November: 'HR' 40:12.68 might have to start adding the hundreth of seconds as times will be getting harder to beat as I get fitter...

nah mate - no more of those insane two lappers!! Although i might give that another go maybe if I feel insane when it starts getting cooler after summer - should have a good fitness up for running by then. It still hurts everything!! And the Mrs rolled her ankle yesterday - you know the tracks, not surprising. But being the old netballer that she is, carried on, and all is fine today - netballers ankles, built to be rolled and suffer no side effects!!
