It's here! ... Team of the Year
-
@delicatessen Yeah - he puts himself in position to make things happen and when they do, he's got the speed and skills to capitalize. No surprise he's close to the top of most recent try-scoring charts.
I looked at a couple of highlights reels of Loius Rees-Zammitt when they were nominated for breakthrough player - and they're basically the same player.
-
@Chris-B yeah, my comment was mostly tounge in cheek, the same comments get directed at Beauden hence the comparison. People talk alot about Beauden not being a traditional 10, but not many acknowledge how many tests that were actually closely contested in the forwards have been blown apart by him creating something out of nothing.
Jordan is the closest thing we've had to Cully, the tries he scores are freakish in nature, he'll be an absolute asset to us over the next 5 - 10 years.

Whatever you do, just don't make the coaching staff part of the team.
Another bout of Foster v Jesus Crobinson would finish me off..
Buddha not Foster same shape. And Buddha knows how to coach Rugby just as well.

Firstly, they can't name a team in order, so they're full of shit. Then they name a 13 at 12. Dickheads.
And I'll admit my ignorance about their nominated 2.
-
Replace Hog with Jordie (hog was nowhere near as good when put under pressure, jordie thrived this year), and not sure about Lawes - I'd go Siya in 6, loopy hooper in 7.
Best attempt I've seen in the press
-
One last reminder for nominations.
Polls to be set up in a day or so.

Thanks @booboo, appreciate the effort you put in to make this happen
-
FYI. Polls are live here:
https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/category/51/team-of-the-yearExcept for 11 Karl Marx (because I skipped from 1st 5/8 to 2nd 5/8 and forgot 11 is quite out of order), and 16 Coach (coz I have to edit some stuff). Will fix them up and add in the a.m. Straya time.
So as they say in the best democracies: Vote early, vote often.

@machpants any chance you can also post the players he picks so I don't have to watch it
Put them in a spoiler if you do. Some of us enjoy finding out within the vid.
