I still don't understand his signing by the Blues. They have a lot of first class loose forwards, which is not the case in the Canes squad. He does look promising.We got in early with him. We handed him a contract when he had barely played any NPC. It was good scouting by Coventry.

23 Tele'aI like Tele'a on the bench. I think his best position is probably 13 but he can do a reasonable job at 12 and wing too
Mark Telea is under pressure IMO. He has issues under the high ball and JRK looks ready to start.
Eventually I think they'll settle on a back three of Clarke/JRK/Sullivan. Two fullbacks and a wing with very good aerial skills. It suits the Blues kick heavy game plan that they had at the end of last season

I would play Segner, as I keep harping on, I a real fan of him, think he got a huge future.

Hope not - losing him and Beaudy on top of the rustiness would be a blow.
I could well be wrong, just thought I had seen he maybe doubtful, but I getting old so could of got mixed up off course

I'm a Segner sceptic
Hopefully I'm wrong but I've been underwhelmed by what I've seen of him even at NPC level.
He has an interesting back story and I think that's has generated more positive coverage than his play has warranted

@duluth I understand where you're coming from. I think I see the ingredients for a good player, but he needs a bit more strength to push him over the line.
With the backrowers we have, he really just needs to get to a level where he's a good depth player.

Even at U20 level, I wasn't particularly impressed with him. To me Kellow looked to be the best Crusader U20 loose forward.
