I must say anybody else concerned about the 17th team next year? Kinda struggling to get players...

Only have one back so far?...... and not a very good one either

They will struggle I think it looks like this currently, but you are right many positions to fill

    PLAYER POSITION
    Jamayne Isaako Fullback/Wing
    Felise Kaufusi Second-row
    Jesse Bromwich Prop
    Kenny Bromwich Second-row
    Ray Stone Lock/Hooker
    Mark Nicholls Prop
    Isaiya Katoa Halfback
    Valynce Te Whare Centre

Tigers bring more teams to their level in another bludger of a game and find away to lose in the last minute where it should not have been possible

@bayimports Ohhhh ya gotta feel for the Tigers haha how did that happen! When it's not going for you, it's not going for you!

A bludger of a game summed up with a bludger of a try to win it. Had Corey Thompson scored early on, I feel the Titans go on to win comfortably, but they never got out of first gear after that.

Sheesh, league is confusing these days. Defender tackles player without the ball and the commentators say you need to keep pressure on attackers, then when a defender tackles a player around the legs they make out like it's the worst thing you can on the field.

@ACT-Crusader I was just about to say they're playing uncommonly well and then the Broncos go in.

We're getting up field quite easily.

AFB and Lodge have combined for 234m.

@nepia nah leg tackles are fine, however when someone else is holding them upright and albino fluffy bunnies come in with a hip drop or cannonball they are genuinely dangerous plays

Not perfect and don’t want to curse them but much better this week. SJ talking alot helps giving direction. Pompey much better centre than winger lol. 40 mins done can they do 40 more, recent history says no lol

I understand the reasoning for the rule, it does seem an issue unique to league though, but was commenting on the, um, commentators, um, comments on the two incidents.

League players in general are the worst under a high ball

The Warriors dropkicks brigade are genuinely good players.

Excellent win. Good defensive effort and we actually looked like we knew how to put points on the board. SJ made a big difference in getting our pack going forward. Was pretty good error free (by Warrior standards) footy. Liked our high kick game that chasers went after.

That young Broncos fullback is going to be some player.

You won't see many passes better than this.

Could have posted this in the NRL thread, too.

It's a pity, but not sure NZR had any choice when rescheduling games, considering this was one of their postponed games (round 5) and their next rescheduled game is on Tuesday.

The NRL does this all the time, unless the match Crus v Canes I'm always going to watch the rugby live and the Warriors on replay.

@nepia I always do the other way around so can fast forward through all the super reviews and interviews. NRL flows so much better. Each to their own though.

I don't watch any of that in either code.

Watching Newcastle Knights v Sea Eagles. Leo Thompson has been quite impressive for a rookie.

@stargazer yeah for a converted rugby centre looks good for a league prop, Im still looking for him to use some late footwork on someone, not surprisingly he can pass better than most of his team mates lol, but I think he will go well from what we are seeing so far.
