Not sure who is the MotM. Several Chiefs U20 players have put their hand up. Some really good players and obviously good coaching.

As long as Darren Larsen is the Head Coach and selector of all Hurricanes age grade teams, they'll keep on having games like these.

Pretty disappointing performance from the St Andrews pair of Armstrong-Ravula and Saumaki.

Saumaki looks way too heavy and the Chiefs ran rings around him running down his channel.

Strong performances from Godfrey, Lakai and Flanders but apart from that not much else to celebrate.

Yeah he was excellent, should make the main squad next year hopefully. Where to fit him in is the big question. I really think he’s a better fullback than 10 but his versatility will be gold.

A much better performance from the Chiefs. As Bartlett said, they were more physical in the forward exchanges on attack and defence. Even playing with 2 halfbacks in the 9-10 combo for the last 15 mins didn't seem to affect them.

It is going to be interesting to see if the NZ U20s are selected on reputation or performance.

@Canes4life Not sure Godfrey should make the main squad next year. The Canes chuck in players way too young, which I don't think is good for their development at all. Let's see if he gets more game time for the Magpies, this year, and how he goes.

Godfrey is definitely a better 10, but it's great he can play fullback well, too.
