How many of their contributors are Kiwis though? I only read some of their articles (those that are posted here) but I don't recognise the names of the main "journalists". They are likely based all over the world.

On the face of it not bad.
We dumped Foxtel a few months ago as it was like $110 to get sport (need apl these other packages to access sport so fuck them). No rugby.
And it was that "cheap" because I was an existing customer.
Of I want to sign up and get sport it was $140.
If I want sport on Foxtel will sign up to Kayo if I feel the need.

I cancelled my terrestrial sky a while ago when I was busy. I watched a game a weekend basically, and went to a game every second weekend. I loved footy, but justifying 20-40 dollars per game to watch got hard. Cheaper to go to the pub or a mates place!
That said, I did switch over to Fanpass, which became SkySportNow and is a solid product. Still not nearly as good as DAZN or other streaming services, but a step up on teh pile of steaming shit Sky used to serve.

To be fair to Sky their streaming service has improved considerably (I assume since they bought Spark sport and got their hands on their app).
I use a chromebox (don't know the exact name sorry!) but it basically does all the CPU processing so your smartTV doesn't have to which makes it all considerably faster and reliable. Cancelled the Sky box and bought the streaming service for a year which is about half the price.
This is about the cheapest sports watching option you can get I had a mate and did myself for awhile use Kayo (cheekily as were in NZ) but they lost the rugby to Stan which then means you have to but that as well so any cost benefits go out the window once you need to but two services instead of one.
