    U14 v Taranaki: 45 - 7
    U16 v Wellington: 8 - 16
    U16 Dev v Wellington Dev: 7 - 33

    HB Samoans v Manawatu Samoans: 15 - 0

    HB Tuis v Otago Spirit: 17 -39
    U18 Girls v Manawatu: 29 - 12

    By the way, the last name of one of our U18 girls try scorers is Mikaele-Tu'u. Can't be coincidence!

    12.30pm: Manawatu Dev v Hawke’s Bay Saracens @ CET Arena #3, Palmerston North. (Last game of the season; if they win, they'll win the Hurricanes Region Development Competition.)
    1.00pm: Hawke’s Bay U16 v Poverty Bay U16 @ Lambton Square, Wairoa (Hurricanes Pre-Tournament Game)
    1.00pm: Hawke’s Bay U16 Dev v Wairarapa Bus U16 @ Central Park, Waipukurau (Hurricanes Pre-Tournament Game)
    1.00pm: Manawatu U14 v Hawke’s Bay U14 @ CET Arena #2, Palmerston North
    2.00pm: Hawke’s Bay Samoa v Manawatu Samoa @ Tremain Field, Napier (Final of the Central Region Samoa High Commission Cup)

    The Hawke's Bay Saracens have won the Hurricanes Development Competition after beating Manawatu Development 21 to 19.
    Hawke's Bay Samoa have won the Central Region Samoa High Commission Cup after beating Manawatu Samoa 50 to 3.

    Other results:
    HB U14 38 - 7 Manawatu U14
    HB U16 43 - 10 Poverty Bay U16
    Harbour Hibiscus 20 - 0 Tuis

    I couldn't find the result of HB U16 Dev v Wairarapa Bush U16.
    Next week, the rest of the Hurricanes U16 Tournament will be played.

    Hurricanes U16 Tournament

    Results from Monday, 2 Oct:
    U16 v Manawatu: 13 - 10
    U16 Dev v Wgtn U16 Dev (non-competition game): 12 - 15

    The U16s are through to the final against Wellington on Thursday, due to their win over Poverty Bay in the pre-tournament game on 23 September.
    The U16 Dev team must beat East Coast today to earn a spot in the B Division Final.

    Hawke's Bay lost the Hurricanes Under 16 A final to Wellington 16-31.

    Hawke's Bay Dev Team lost the Under 16 B final to Wellington Dev team 12-27.

    @number-10 It's a pity, but not a surprise, considering both teams had already lost to Wellington this season. Wellington always seems to be our stumbling block. But we're again better than Manawatu ...
