Day: 37
Have changed the approach slightly, having a cheat day once a week. So for Alcohol and Junk Food, the first figure is the number of weeks where I’ve only had one cheat day a week. The second figure is the number of days to the cheat day.

You guys have motivated me to get back into this, and my my belt size just went up one rung! Am also going to start walking to work in the mornings to up the general exercise level I get (stuck at a desk all day is crap). Once I get to 75kgs, I see if I need to lose anymore.

First month, no alcohol.
No Alcohol is a big call mate. Why not just aim to at least halve your intake. That's what i'm doing. Plus ya dopey bastard (said humourously) we've got a piss-up on the 4th!!!

Ahh, I sort of can't make that now.

Something to do with coming back from a bender at 7am, without letting the wife know where I was. My excuse that I was too drunk to remember to text went down real well. I've also been feeling rough as guts and getting sick really easily for the last three or weeks, so time for a break.

Right, have ordered my dumbells for later this week and booked four days of work (have to use up the rest of my holidays) to jump start my gyming.

Yeah, I was musing with a colleague about this yesterday. We have 10 years experience between us, and about a handful of days off sick. The trouble is that litigators are most likely to get sick at the pointy end of cases-- due obviously to stress-- which is precisely when it is impossible to take time off. So you battle through...

Met my target of four hour cardios per week. Having a rest day to let the soreness go away a bit then back into it tomorrow. Weights arrive this week, so will add that in to the program.

Have now lost 2kgs, maintaining the 1kg a week rate so far. My belt has gone in one notch and is feeling loose, so heading towards the next one.

Have definitely gained some muscle in there, so that makes me happier with the weight loss.

Hit a wall yesterday, energy levels were terrible and the gym was a slow, long slog. Still feel crap today.

Going to do another cardio session today, and squash with Hooroo tomorrow then I might take two days off. After tonight it will be 7 hour cardios in 8 days.

Think I have made an amateurs mistake of buying a new set of scales (Hard to see the readout properly on the other one). And of course I weigh a different amount. Fark it.

Yeah you gotta recalibrate your goal now - its all relative to the set of scales you're using. Ours weight a bit on the heavy side compared to the electronic whizz-bang jobs at Mrs the Aussie's work (and its a hospital so you'd think it was pretty accurate) so while I'm 117 at home I might be 115 <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Maybe? 😕

I gained half a kilogram when I moved my scales from the living room to the bathroom. They were quickly moved back on the grounds of space management.

Then I am 2.5% less wise than I was on New Year's day.
And why are you using humour and a smiley? Did you crack and open a cask of Banrock under the desk? :nta

The only thing MvJ has just cracked open is a blackcurrant and apple tea-bag and it is fucking disgusting.

As for the smiley, I am a Moderator posting on a fellow Moderator's thread. MvJ is obliged to be gregarious, charming and otherwise on his best behaviour.
