@sneakdefreak I think a variety of factors at play. We lost some true greats to retirement in the past few years. Some players (eg Folau) have been playing on past feats. Lots of young uns who will be better for the experience, but still learning the ropes. You can just see on the court, the flow isn't there. Wayward passing, lots of penalties which means they aren't assessing space very well, and then that lacklustre shooting in the circle. Also not terribly impressed with the coaching line up. The Ferns seem to have stagnated big time.

Paul Coll (NZ) lost the first game in squash against Makin (Wales) but this seems to have inspired Coll to some anger - currently 3-1 to Coll in the 2nd game.

Silver Ferns just lost to Malawi 57-53.

Excellent news. The sooner Southby goes the better so short-term pain for long-term gain.

@canefan If the Black Sticks can get a draw or win, they will go through top of pool thanks to that big win over Ghana, and probably avoid England in the semis.

I think we'd have to beat the Australians - a draw would require a miracle assist from Scotland.

TVNZ should just go to ad breaks when the Australian anthem plays - it's a win-win! 🙂

    Fixed.

No sympathy for Netball NZ from me when you choose a coach who had won nothing at senior level before the appointment. It's obvious who should have been the coach but Taurua didn't even get an interview. Not a favourite with the suits (or skirts) at NNZ.

Joelle King has won her squash semi, will be playing for gold tomorrow.

That is a great win as Nicol David is probably the greatest womens player ever and was the 2-time defending CG champ.

Campbell Stewart takes silver in the men's point race. Also Paul Coll won his squash semi, so will be playing for gold.
