Dunno if we ever had an IPL thread for this year, but anyway just to note that Little Kane is absolutely killing it!
Second most runs, fourth highest average, most scores of 50+.
Having lost Warner from the Sunrisers squad, he's taken over the captaincy and with three games left in the regular season the Sunrisers have already qualified for the play-offs and one more win will definitely give them one of the important top two spots and should wrap up top spot.
He's pretty much carried the Sunrisers batting!
I'd guess he'll get a pretty handy pay rise next season - not sure quite how teams work out who gets paid the most of players they choose to retain, but they have to pay 15, 11 and 7 Crores if they retain three - and why wouldn't you keep him? Kane sold this year for 2.2 Crore (NZ$470K).
