Hopefully Harbour puts up a decent fight but they've underwhelmed so far this season
A worrying thing is their pack seems to be gassing early. Maybe that's due to the shitty kicking game, high error rate of the backs?
The backline has been really terrible. Maybe Antonio Mikaele-Tu'u can provide some punch in the midfield. Little has been poor so I doubt the midfield will be fixed.
It'll be interesting to see how Aoake goes on the wing, he was considered a good prospect a couple of years ago but hasn't had many starts since then.Is Jared Page contracted to the Blues next year? It's a bad sign if you a re SR player and can't break into this starting backline.
Speaking of fringe Blues players - where is Jack Heighton? Is he injured? -
Good win against the throw from Pierce. Easily NHs best player so far this season
-
Very good first quarter from Aoake
-
It’s like Telea knew the call
-
Page started? McGarvey-Black was named in the side
-
@Duluth yep late change. Page looks more comfortable on the wing than centre.
-
@Duluth was listening to the radio commentary..Parsons said that exactly
-
Very good half by Harbour.
Can they hold on? I think it'll depend on if Harbour can starve Tasman of ball again.
-
@Dice Tasman will have second half wind
-
Tasman's worst half of the season, so far.
They've turned Havili's counter-attack over several times, so far and the handful of promising opportunities have been stymied by clumsy play.
Need to improve markedly in the 2nd 40.
Harbour pack apparently 100kgs heavier than Tasman's!!!

I was surprised by the numbers, but I think it's wrong. No way are Harbour averaging 121kg per man.
-
@Chris-B Harbour doing very well at the breakdown ..
-
Tasman have 13 men on the field and Harbour are going for 3. Dumb.
-
Now Tasman get an intercept try. Nice one Harbour.
-
And thats why Harbour are last.
-
What are Harbour doing here? How can they dominate so much and only be 2 points ahead? What a bizarre game
-
Telea under the high ball is no good.
-
@KiwiMurph he has an unusual technique of trying to catch it with his face
-
David Havili has been well contained
-
Important kick by Gatland. Tasman now have to score 3 times to win.
-
Smashed
40 points to NH
Tasman’s score inflated by those two intercepts
-
Impressive performance by Harbour.
I'd say that's the performance of the M10 so far. This came out of nowhere.
-
Damn, how were the Harbour forwards?
-
-
If ever a final score line has flattered a losing team , you have just seen it..Tasman have come 2nd by the distance of a rugby field ..and I have to agree with the commentators ..Tasman have been under the pump for the whole 80 minutes , and that’s been the difference between Harbour and any team that’s played Tasman ..full credit to Harbour , commiserations to Tasman
-
How was TJ on commentary during the dismantling? Was watching the Waikato game.
-
-
@Yeetyaah to give him TJ credit , he was extremely complimentary to Harbour
-
One should always be gracious in victory, @Duluth!
WTF was that Tasman??!!!
Not many who come out of that with much credit. Alex Nankivell was probably the pick. Tima Faingaánuku ran with purpose when he got on. David Havili was generally OK.
The forwards got dominated. The scrum got the shit beaten out of it. Beaten at the breakdown, lineout drives defused.
Finlay Christie looked rusty. Paea and Talea were both generally pretty awful. Big Leicester was anonymous.
Harbour actually much too good - even if they did not really seem to know what to do once they had us down to 13.
-
Kieran Keane must have enjoyed this game.
-
great work Harbour, that effort came from nowhere. Impressive was they maintained it right to the end - kept positive, kept working and pushed all the way. Much respect.

Best I’ve seen them play for ages. It was clinical stuff at the tackle and ruck in attack and defence.
The two Bryn’s controlled the possession well I thought.
-
So we give a Mikaele-Tu'u to North Harbour and they start winning ...
-
@Chris-B you've been our baitches for a long time....
-
@dogmeat Those winning streaks always come to an end, my friend....!
-
On the plus side, if Foster was watching that game, a few Tasman players who might have been on the margins for a trip lazing around on the sidelines in Australia will probably remain available to us!
